Spoilers for anyone who hasn't finished the Originals and Legacies.
Hi everyone. To the afterlife and back is the first fanfiction I have written so I hope it is good. I apologize in advance if parts don't make sense. This story starts a year after Klaus and Elijah die. They are all in the afterlife, apart fro Klaus who is watching over Hope. If you have watched Legacies, you know that Klaus can't find peace until Hope does. This story is very loosely based on what happens in Legacies, and I will probably go from the show's storyline completely just after season 2 starts. I haven't finished the second season, so the way Hope finds peace will be completely different from the show. I will try to stick very closely to what happens in The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, with my understanding being a lot stronger than with Legacies.
