Klaus's POV

"Hello, Love." I say, looking at Caroline.

"I'll go change quickly." Hayley says and vamps past everyone, up to her room. I suggest if we should go into the living room and Caroline agrees, following me there. I walk in and sit on one of the chairs, she sits opposite me on the sofa.

"So. How have you been?" I ask her and she just laughs.

"Well, looking after twins and going all around the world trying to find something to stop them from killing each other with the merge takes a lot out of you." She says and I furrow my eyebrows at her. "They are Gemini twins. When they turn twenty-two they have to merge. One of them lives while the other sort of gets absorbed. The winner gets the others magic, but they have the other one's personality in their brain in a way. Anyway, how have you been?"

"I've been well. Had a great holiday with my family. Spending time with Hope again has been great, and being with everyone else. Meeting my nephew, who is very cute by the way. Just glad to be alive really." I say and smile at her, which she returns.

"Nik," Rebekah says, walking into the room, Hayley follows, walking over to me and looking at Rebekah. "sorry to interrupt but I need to go in your room. I wanted to know if your girlfriend was still in there."

"No, she's gone." She turns around and starts walking out. "Why bother asking now when you already barged in?!" I shout after her.

"Shut up! How was I supposed to know, I don't live here anymore." She shouts back.

"You're here every bloody morning!" I shout back, and Hayley chuckles. I look at her and she smiles at me, remembering this morning. Caroline clears her throat, and I'm reminded that she is here.

"So, Caroline. Why are you here?" Hayley asks her, sitting on the chair arm of my chair.

"We need to talk about Hope. Seeing as you guys are back, we need to sign the papers so Ric isn't her legal guardian anymore. We also need to talk about her powers and also why my kids are staying at yours." She explains and we nod our heads.

"Well, Hope doesn't need Ric to be her guardian anymore, so do you have the papers?" Hayley asks bluntly. Caroline nods her head and gets some papers out of her bag, handing them to us.

"Ric has already signed them, so we just need you two to sign at the bottom of each page." She hands Hayley a pen, which she takes off her, and glances at the page. After reading it, she signs at the bottom of each page and then hands them to me. I start reading myself as Hayley starts speaking.

"So, what is happening with Hope's powers?" She asks Caroline.

"She is getting stronger all the time. We knew this would happen, but now it is getting out of hand. She is using black magic and getting my daughters to use it. She is spending more time as a wolf. Getting angrier all the time." I sign the papers and put them on the table in front of me.

"Well, we aren't to blame for your daughters using it, but the other things maybe." Hayley says, and I can tell she is getting a little tense.

"Look. Hope is going to get stronger. Unlike me and Hayley, right now she is a witch and wolf Hybrid, whereas me and Hayley are wolf and vampire. If you put her against the other wolves, she will be stronger. She has not one, but two wolves as parents. And not just any wolves, her mother is the Crescent alpha. She is the next alpha to come. I am from the North-East Atlantic pack, which is an ancient, very powerful bloodline of wolves. She comes from two of the strongest packs, making her stronger than the ones at school. If she needs to turn more often to keep her anger down then that shouldn't be a problem. Ric allowed her to do it." I explain to her.
