Being alone

Davina's POV 

Four weeks. Four weeks since Kol's birthday. The twins went back to the school, their father and mother forcing them. MJ had to go back too. Rafael, however, is still staying at the compound with Hope. He won't go back without Hope and Klaus and Hayley want him to stay. He has become like their son in a way. I'm in the car, Kol is driving. He has his hand on my thigh and he looks at me as we pull up to the compound, smiling at me. "Ready, darling?" 

"Yep," I say and he smiles wider, leaning over and kissing me. We get out of the car and walk in, immediately being greeted by the whole family.  

"Thank god, why are we here? I have something to do." Rebekah says and Kol rolls his eyes. 

"Come on, little sister. You will hate yourself if you're not here for this." He says and goes on his phone, starting to record all of the family. 

"Here for what? And why are you pointing your phone at us all?" Klaus asks. I step forward so I'm seen on the camera.   

"Oh, he just wants to catch all of your reactions when I tell you we are pregnant." I say. Everyone stops and freezes. 

"What?" Freya whispers. 

"Your serious?" Hayley says and I nod my head, smiling. 

"I'm pregnant. It worked." I say louder and they all suddenly move, running to me. Rebekah, Freya, Hayley and Keelin all hug me first, then the boys do. Hope and Rafael follow. 

"I'm going to have another cousin." Hope squeals and I laugh. I walk to Kol and take the phone off him. The siblings all attack him when he is free of the phone. All giving him a huge hug together.  Hope then runs forward and joins in. 

"Ok, help. I would like to be alive to see my child thank you." He says, struggling for breath. They let him go and then Hayley, Marcel, Keelin and even Rafael hug him. 

"Now I get to show the child Macbeth with a real killing." Marcel says and Kol shakes his head. 

"Absolutely not!" Kol states. Hayley starts laughing. 

"You sounded like Klaus then when I made him wear that mother trucker hat." She says and Klaus just rolls his eyes. 

"It was a stupid hat." He replies gruffly, making Hayley laugh harder. 

"I'm so happy right now." Rebekah says and starts jumping up and down. "I am buying the best baby clothes ever." Kol, Klaus and Elijah all roll their eyes at the same time. 

"Bloody hell." Klaus mumbles, but we all hear.  

"How along are you?" Keelin asks me. 

"Just over four weeks." I reply and she nods her head. I still can't believe it. Me and Kol had been talking about it for a while, and when we found the spells, we got really excited. When I found out it actually worked a week ago, we were over the moon. We tried to hold it in a little longer, but we couldn't take it, so we called the family and said to go to the compound this morning and finally told them.  

We spent the next half an hour talking about what plans we have for the baby. Next week we are actually moving into our new house that is three streets down from here. The others are all busy that day we move in apart from Klaus and Hayley, so they are helping us move everything in. So far, we have decided to have a gender reveal when I am far enough to know. I've always wanted to be a mother, and being one with Kol is just amazing. After talking for a while, Rebekah and Marcel had to go, they had plans to do something today already before we called everyone over. Hope and Rafael were going to the library to do some work, knowing they would get distracted if they were here. Keelin and Freya were going to the park with Nik, while Vincent was doing some business with the witches. Me and Kol were going back home to finish packing so that just left Klaus, Hayley and Elijah in the compound. We all said goodbye to each other and then went our separate ways.
