Water fights

Elijah's POV 

It's now ten at night. I'm sat in the living room with my siblings. Hope and her friends are sat in the corner of the living room, while Niklaus and Hayley are somewhere, Davina and Marcel are in the kitchen and Keelin is with her son. They were happy to see me, well everyone was, apart from Niklaus and Hayley. Rebekah told me about the wedding and how Niklaus surprised her. I was happy for her, she now got her brother's back. Freya introduced me to Nik, and he is adorable. She then went on to tell me how she didn't have enough magic to bring me back with the others, but I reassured her it was ok. I'm back now and that's all that matters. Freya was talking about the holiday that they booked when we heard Hayley laugh from somewhere. "I'm going to get you for that!" My brother shouts back, and you can hear her shrieking. "No. Ok, ok. I. Ahh, Klaus!" His laugh echoes into the living room. "It's all over me!" "Well, you started it, Little Wolf." It goes quiet and then they walk in.  Niklaus has paint on his face, and on his right arm, while Hayley has it on her shirt, her face, her hair, and on her left arm. 

"We just came to say goodnight." Hayley tells us. "I would hug you but I don't want to get paint on you." She looks everywhere but me, and I know she meant my sisters when she said about giving a hug. Niklaus laughs. 

"I don't mind." He says, and he suddenly vamps to Rebekah, wiping paint on her face, then does the same to Freya. 

"NIK!" Rebekah screams, as Freya just stands up slowly and walks off. Niklaus laughs at our little sister's reaction and so does Hope. Her friends try to stifle a laugh. His back is facing the door so he doesn't Freya walk in behind him. 

"Niklaus." She plainly states. He turns around and Freya quickly splashes him with paint. It goes on the floor and sofa a bit, but she didn't care. "Thank you for the paint, I appreciate it, little brother." He stands there, staring at her. Hope, Hayley and her friends burst out laughing. 

"You think this is funny?!" He shouts, and the room goes quiet. No one moves for a few seconds, then he vamps over to Freya, then to Hope, and splashes her with paint. "Because I think it is." He and Hayley start laughing as Hope stands up glaring at her father. 

"DAD!" She screams, just like her Aunt did. Rebekah vamps to Klaus and drags him to the middle of the compound. 

"Hey Hope, would your friends like to help me beat my brother at a water fight?" 

"No, absolutely not." He tries to step back, but Freya uses her magic to hold him in place. Hayley speeds off into the kitchen, and about thirty seconds pass before she returns with some bucket of water, Marcel following with some water pistols. Kol then speeds off too and comes back with more water. I just stand in the corner. I don't want to ruin this moment. Deciding it might be fun, I get my phone out and start recording. They'll thank me later. 

"Kids, grab a water pistol. Hope, if the water empties, you can fill it up right?" She nods her head at her mother. "When the water fight starts, kids, the adults become kids too, so don't get scared to hit us too. Ok?" They nod at her. Davina walks in. 

"Hey, what's all this shouting going on?" Suddenly she gets drenched. Kol stands next to her holding a now-empty bucket. 

"WATER FIGHT!" Kol shouts at the top of his lungs.  

They all stand there frozen for about three seconds then carnage happens. Rebekah throws water at Niklaus, getting her own back for the paint. Davina picks up the water that was on the floor from Kol throwing it at her and hits Hayley with it. Marcel gets a spare water pistol and hits the twins, making them shriek. Landon then hits Marcel with water, as Freya throws some at Rafael. Hope does the same thing Davina did and throws it at Kol. They all start attacking each other with water and this goes on for about five minutes. Rebekah vamps over to each person individually, whispering something to them, and when she moves on they stop their attack. Everyone then stops and forms a circle around Niklaus. Hope, Freya and Davina refill everything with water, and they all look at my brother. 

"No, don't even thi-" His voice gets interrupted by the sound of water hitting him. When the water stops, he stands there drenched even more than he was before. Spitting water out, he looks at everyone and bursts out laughing. "I didn't even start with the paint, Hayley attacked me with it first." They all turn to Hayley as the witches refill everything. She tries to speed off but Niklaus speeds over to her, holding her so she can't run away as they all drench her even more than she was before, even if that is humanly possible.  

Hayley starts laughing, which causes everyone else to. "Well, I don't know about you guys but I am cold and I am going to bed now. So, night everyone." They all say night as she walks off. Everyone splits off. Rebekah going with Marcel, Davina with Kol, and Hope with her friends. 

"Rebekah, Marcel, wait." Freya runs up to them and puts her hands on Rebekah's shoulders. After a few seconds, Rebekah is bone dry. She does the same with Marcel. She then turns around and drys the whole compound floor. "Kol has Davina and Rafael and Lando have three witches so there fine." She turns to Niklaus and Hayley. "I'm going to leave you too. You both started this." 

Rebekah and Marcel laugh as they walk off to their room, and Freya goes to yours. "Yeah, love you too sister." Niklaus shouts after her. He turns back to Hayley and chuckles while she laughs. They start walking off but I still hear them.  

"I think we need another shower." Hayley tells my brother and he laughs. 

"Yeah, you forget your shampoo now?" She hits his arm. 

"Hey. I'm using yours anyway." She looks at him and stands in front of him, blocking his way. Moving closer to his face she whispers. "Beat you there." And she vamps off into his room, Niklaus following. I hear laughing and then his bedroom door slam shut.  

I look down at my phone and end the video, before sending it to the family group chat that me and Niklaus are still apart of. Walking to my room, I walk past Niklaus's and I hear his shower running, and them laughing. He really had to go and get Hayley, when she was upset and vulnerable that we broke up. I shake my head. I'm getting her back and making sure Niklaus never has a chance with her again. If that's the last thing I do.
