Holiday and questions

Rebekah's POV 

It has been three weeks since that horrible bastard tried to rape Hayley. She's better now, and she goes into rooms without needing someone there, but she still hasn't gone into the room where it happened. No one can blame her though. I wouldn't go in either. They try to hide it, but everyone knows. Hayley hasn't been able to sleep on her own, and so she has been staying with Nik. We all know he lets her so she doesn't get scared, and he doesn't want her to be. But we also know it isn't just for her. He doesn't want her to sleep on her own in case something happens. And secretly, I think he likes having her there. 

Things are getting back to normal. Well, whatever is normal for the Milaelson's that is. Everyone knows what happened between Hayley, Elijah and Nik, but we are still going ahead with the plan to bring him back. He is still our brother. I do hate him for what he said though, that wasn't right. We are sat in the living room again, I'm next to Marcel, with Davina on his other side, and Kol is sat on the chair arm next to her. On the other sofa, Klaus is at in the middle, with Freya on his right, and Hayley on his left, opposite me. Keelin had just walked out to get little Nik a drink. We were just waiting on Hope to come, and I think she is bringing Landon with her. I like Landon, he is a sweet boy. Hayley had told us she didn't want Hope to know what happened, and Klaus had told Hope that some work was being done in the compound so she shouldn't come here until it was done. He said that so it gave enough time for Hayley to be ok, and also enough time for us to make sure every last one of that sickening group had been torn apart. 

Keelin walks back in and sits on a chair, giving little Nik to Hayley, who wanted to hold him. She smiles wide, and Klaus looks at his nephew and smiles too. Little Nik put his hand out, which Klaus holds, and he makes a cute little noise. Hayley starts laughing and my brother looks at her adoringly. I do wish they got together. Truth be told, I thought she was a better match with Nik than Elijah. I saw how Elijah loved her, but it was different with Hayley. To me at least, it seemed like there was a stronger connection between the two Hybrids than her and Elijah, he didn't understand her like Nik did. I get brought out of my thoughts when we see Hope walk in with Landon, another boy and two other girls. 

"Hey, guys." We all look at her and smile. "Sorry, I hope you don't mind but we have a group project over the weekend, and I couldn't get out of it. Dad said you wouldn't mind if they stayed too." We all tell it is fine, and they sit down on the floor, Hope resting on the sofa next to Hayley's legs. 

"So, Hope. We have come up with a surprise for you." She looks at Kol and he smiles at her. "Why don't you get the envelope from the kitchen counter." She gets up and walks into the kitchen and we all smile at each other. 

"So, are you Lizzie and Josie Hope was telling us about?" I look at the girls and they nod. 

"Yeah, I'm Josie and this is Lizzie. And this is Rafael." The brunette says. I smile at them. I introduce the rest of the family, apart from Klaus and Hayley, and we start talking about what they are learning at school when Hope's voice interrupts us.  

"We're going to Crete?" She shouts as she walks in. "I've always wanted to go there." We all smile at her and she smiles back, having an identical one to her father. 

"Surprise darling. We thought we should have a family holiday after everything that has happened. We go in three months. It's already sorted with the school." Kol tells her. She squeals and hug everyone. We talk for a little bit more when I go to stand up. 

"Wait, Auntie Bex. I have something for you." Hope says, and looks at her father. He nods and gets up, speeding off somewhere and returning at the doorway. Hope walks to him and brings the items over to me. I sit back down next to Marcel and she hands me one. I look, and I see it is a painting of me and Marcel on our wedding day. She then hands me the larger one. "This is for everyone, but I thought I would give it to you first." I look at the other one, and it's a painting of all the family at my wedding. I give them to the others so they can see what it it. "Me and Dad have been painting since they go back, and we thought you would like it."
