Klaus's POV

It's now 2 am, according to the clock on the table next to my bed. After my phone call with Caroline, Hayley hasn't spoken to me at all. She was fine with everyone else, just not me. I thought I would be able to explain everything when she came to our room after the water parks, but as soon as we got out of the car, she walked off. So, here I am laying on my back, worried. My phone starts ringing, and I jump up, grabbing it. I see it is Marcel and I sigh.

"Yes?" I say a little cold.

"Hey man, sorry for waking you. But. Hayley has just knocked on my door and is crying about her boyfriend being an ass. Rebekah is trying to comfort her, but it won't work. And with the smell of alcohol on her, she won't reason with us. Can you come and take her back to your room?"

"I'm on my way." I say and end the call. Walking out, I run through the hall, and up some stairs, getting to their floor. I finally reach their door and knock on it. The door flys open and Marcel is stood there, looking relieved when he sees me.

"Sorry you have had to come straight from bed." He says as I walk in. Furrowing my eyebrows I look down and remember I was in my boxers. Hayley didn't care if I slept in them, I mean, we are sort of together now. Well, we were. But I don't know now. She looks at me and scowls, before looking away again.

"Go away. I am not talking to you." She slurs.

"Come on. It's 2 in the morning, they need to sleep." I say. She sighs and gets up, walking, but nearly falls. I reach out to get her, but she just pushes me off.

"DON'T YOU DARE, NIKLAUS MIKAELSON!" She shouts at me. Making her way to the door, she turns around. "I'm sorry for waking you. Thank you for cheering me up, both of you." She says and they smile at her, telling her it is fine. She disappears out of view, and Marcel looks at me.

"Try and make her happy will you? This guy has obviously hurt her." He says to me. I nod my head.

"I'll try." We then hear a thud, and I run out of the room with Marcel and Rebekah behind me. We see Hayley on the floor, she had obviously fallen. I walk up to her, but she just tries to move away from me. "Come on. You need my help. Little Wolf. Hayley!" I raise my voice and she looks at me properly.

"NO!"

"Hayley." I crouch down and look at her. "You are waking everyone up, and are acting like a child. Now get up and walk back to our room, or I will make you." I say to her. She stares at me for another couple of seconds but then gives in. She stands up and takes a few steps, but falls. I reach over, and she tries to pull away, but when she takes a glance at me, she gives in. One of my arms goes under her shoulders, while the other one goes behind her knees. I then pick her up, bridal style and look over my shoulder, seeing Marcel and Rebekah still standing there.

"Make sure she sobers up. She will be hell in the morning." Rebekah says to me, and I nod my head.

"Thank you, guys." They nod their heads and walk into their room, saying goodnight to us, before the shut the door.

I walk down the hall, and down the stairs, back to the floor we are on. Reaching our door, I put her down, but put my hand on her waist so she doesn't fall, and open the door. She tries to walk in on her own, but I don't let her go. Walking with her, I make her sit on the edge of the bed. Shutting and then locking the door, I walk into the bathroom and come back with a glass of water in my hand. Giving it to her, I kneel in front of her. After she takes a few sips, I try to get her to talk.

"What the hell was all of that? Why the hell are your drunk, and why did you ignore me all day?" She looks at me and gives me a death stare.

"Really? You don't know? Why don't you ring Caroline back and ask her to actually say what she was meaning when she asked you to meet up." I look at her confused.
