Some kind of slur-like giggle falls from my tongue, my eyes droopy when the waiter takes the last of our empty glasses from the table.

I'm not even sure how many cocktails I've drank, but my head is whirling to the point that Grayson is looking slightly blurry. Grayson of course seems fine, despite the number of beers he's gotten through.

"You," Grayson says, laughing as he hands over his credit card to the waiter. "Are a lightweight." His lip curves and it makes my insides flame.

"What? I-I'm fine!" I protest, clumsily leaning across the table, much to the disapproval of the waiter.

Grayson stifles a laugh. "Come on," he reaches his large hand to mine. "Let's go."

I pout, but I follow Grayson nevertheless. He almost pulls me out the restaurant, but my ears are beckoned back in by the tranquillising sound of Erasure spilling from the speakers— the song of A Little Respect playing, to be precise.

I groan. "Oh, I love this song!" My weak arms pull Grayson back in, but in a quick, fluid motion he scoops me into his arms, pressing his lips to mine when it's becoming noticeable that everyone is staring. "I know you do baby," he says, clicking his tongue. "But we need to go."

I'd usually restrain, but being held in Grayson's arms with light remains of cocktails lapping through my veins is too good to dismiss. I love how it feels to be cradled by Grayson—to be held and in his possession where I'm safe for everything and everyone around us, so I duck my head and smile as he carries me away.

The air is cold, the wind blowing heavily when we exit the restaurant. When my arms present themselves with goosebumps, Grayson's pulls me to his chest even tighter.

Okay, now I might melt.

I smile, revelling in the moment of us drifting through this city in each other's company like nothing else matters. Well, right now, nothing does. Grayson takes my mind places that no one else ever will. He constantly fills my heart to the brim with his love. With his beauty. With his sheer need to be protective of me. His makes everything easy and I never want to let that go. Ever.

At the sight of Tower Bridge in the distance, Grayson places me down and blankets my shoulders with his jacket.

With a shiver, I say, "You're so lucky to have this as your view." The river is kissed by the moonlight, the soft laps of the water soothing my already loose muscles.

With his arm curled around my waist, Grayson pushes his lips to my ear. Then, he says, "Not as lucky as having you darlin'."

Fuck. I want to jump on this man. I want to be owned, possessed and taken by this man because he is all that I'll ever need.
