My first week at Saint and City has flown by at light speed. Although I've tried to take in everything I've been taught, I can't help but feel overwhelmed with everything. I like learning, but there's a whole lot to learn in a short space of time.
Hailey has been in and out all week at various parties and gatherings. But it's been nice for me to have the house to myself, to embrace the silence and to think over my time in London so far.
I say my time in London, but all I could really think about was him. Grayson bloody Cooper.
Disappointingly, I haven't heard a word off Grayson since he dropped me home last Monday night. Not even a peek. I'm almost convinced I'll never hear off him again actually.
I know he was probably put off after I rejected his kiss, but we still had such a good night, so why hasn't he been in touch? Was the night better to me than it was to him? Was he glad after I left his car that night? I wish I knew the answers to my own questions.
Granted, I could have text him first, but the stubborn side of me hasn't allowed me to do so; if he's interested, he'll let me know. That's what Hailey always says anyway. Of course she hasn't stopped winding me up about it. To her, it's hilarious.
"As if you pulled away as he was going to kiss you!" She bellowed repeatedly, laughter erupting from inside her. Each time she reminds me of that moment, I roll my eyes, begging for the floor to swallow me whole.
It wasn't that I didn't like him, or that I didn't want to kiss him, because I really did, I just panicked that it was too soon.
Typical Mia, always being sensible.
But with each day I also put Grayson further into the back of my mind. It wasn't a relationship, it was barely even a friendship, it was just a one off. It was just a bit of fun with someone I had only just met.

"Hey you're back!" Hailey calls, flying through the front door, crashing onto the sofa next to me. Despite the cold September breeze outside, she wears only a tight t-shirt and a pair of ripped jeans; I struggle to understand how she keeps warm.
"We're going to Holly's house tonight for drinks," she says like an excited puppy. "And then we're going out out!" Her head leans closer to mine, and I know exactly where she's heading with this.
"Enjoy," I say coolly, sarcastically, taking a sip of my tea and focusing my eyes towards the drama that plays on the TV.
"Oh girl, you're coming with," Hailey snorts, eyeing me with those green, mischievous eyes of hers. "It's Friday so I'm not taking any excuses. Besides, you need to let your hair down and get over that dick, Grayson."
"Hey," I snap. "He's not a dick."
"Uh Mia? Who goes out with a girl and then ghosts her straight after? A dick, that's who!"
