"You didn't tell me your sister was coming," I whisper to Grayson, watching as Maria and Phil take a moment to welcome their daughter home.

Grayson smiles, piling heaps of potatoes onto his plate. "I thought it would be a nice surprise. She's visiting for a few days." He leans his face closer to mine. "And I know you've been wanting to meet her."

I smile—I have been wanting to meet Chloe, and she seems just a lovely as I thought she would be.

"And you," Chloe squeals, moving round to my chair with her arms outstretched. "Must be the beautiful Mia!"

I stand from my chair, welcomed into her embrace.

"Hey, you must be Chloe," I say, admiring her shoulder length blonde hair and stunningly gorgeous hazel coloured eyes; despite the difference in colour, she and Grayson have the same eyes.

"It's amazing to meet you," she says. "Grayson has told me all about you."

I shoot a glance to Grayson, who's smirking as he shoves his fork into his food.

"All good things I hope," I giggle, somewhat nervously.

"Amazing things," she beams. "Little brother!" She wraps her arms around Grayson from behind, and his lips form a wide smile. "Great to see you again!"

     "You too, sis."

Chloe places a kiss onto Grayson's cheek, before padding to the end of the table, taking a seat in between Maria and Phil.

"It's so lovely to have you all here," Maria chirps, covering her food in gravy. "Now come on, dig in!"

I finish filling my plate and pull my chair in, my eyes scanning across the table with happiness, because Grayson's family are all so wonderful.

"So, how did you two meet?" Chloe asks, pushing a carrot onto her fork and gesturing her hand between Grayson and I.

I blush, because I remember the night I met Grayson; drunk and covered in vomit.

"I met him in Plasma," I say quickly, a slight laugh escaping me.

Grayson's mouth twists at the side playfully. "You mean you were so wasted that you thought the staff room was the second floor of the nightclub." Laughter suddenly erupts from his mouth, and shortly after both his parents and Chloe join in—all the while I feel my cheeks flush with heat.

"Grayson!"

"Come on, I'm just messing baby. I'm glad you were in there that night." He winks his eye, sending my stomach spiralling.

"What do you think to Plasma?" Phil asks eagerly from across the table.

I think back, but both times I went the night ended up in a blur.
