HEY!!! HEY YOU, YES YOU! LOOK AT THIS TRIGGER WARNING NOW!! DON'T SKIP!!!

This, like Teenage Dream, does have underage drinking in it.

You might ask why I would include something like this since 1.) I do NOT SUPPORT underage drinking and 2.) This makes the characters look really bad. My reasoning for this is high schoolers do party. They do drink when they are underage. It would be silly to look over that fact. It's just the reality of life now, as sad as it is. Plus, people make mistakes. Characters make mistakes, and this is a mistake. But you will see I DO NOT SUPPORT DRIVING DRUNK OR EVEN WITH ONE DRINK! That's why that will not ever be in my stories whatsoever since that's even worse. Please, if you find yourself in a situation where you're intoxicated and don't have a ride home, calling someone to pick you up, even if its your parents, is the right thing to do. It's better to get in trouble than to drive under the influence EVER. Always, even if you are 21, have a designated driver to drive everyone home. But it's a pandemic right now, so please don't go out to parties right now. Wear a mask. Social distance. Do your part to save lives. Ok, well, hopefully you all don't hate me. But I will include the major thing that happens at the end, so if you wish to skip this chapter, which I 100% understand, I will have it at the bottom thank you note. That should be it. Thank you, and go in with caution.

((Lani's POV))

As soon as Alex closed the door, it was just my boyfriend and I left alone. There was a silence to it as I bit my bottom lip a little.

"Where are your parents?" I managed to ask.

"Gone. They're going to be at a wine festival. Monday through Friday morning" Sam sighed as he walked over to me, his hands in pockets of his jeans.

"I thought your dad was forcing you to stay home today," I said.

"We have a camera in the drive," he explained. "An app on his phone lets him see what's going on with it. So he sees me practicing in the driveway. I'm sure he's kept an eye on me all day with it and will all week. If I don't practice... I don't even want to disobey him with that."

"So they left you alone by yourself?" I asked, noticing I was frowning a little.

He shrugged, sitting on the couch next to me. I couldn't get enough of him as he laid back as he crossed one leg over the other. Just looking at him in general... I couldn't believe he's actually my boyfriend.

"It's better alone," he mumbled, not looking at me and instead at the Anne Rice book on the coffee table. "I like being alone here. No parents questioning me every 5 seconds. No drunk father yelling. No mother crying in the bathtub at 2 a.m.... It's nice for them to be away."

I nodded slightly, knowing more about his family situation after I met them. Sam had told me a little more along the way too. His parents weren't the best... If I could wish one thing in my life, I'd wish for him to have better parents so his smile never faded.

Sam glanced over at me, a little forced smile on his face. He stood up, grabbing his phone from his back pocket.

"On a scale from 1-10, how crazy do you want to be right now?"

"What?"

"Just answer the question, Haluki," he chuckled.

"Crazy on a Monday night?"

"No better time to do something unexpected," he laughed.

"Ok then a 10," I laughed at his cute, little grin. "What do you have planned?"

Sam unlocked his phone and scrolled through something. He turned it around, and I saw that it was a text.

"Will is throwing a party. His parents went with mine and are out of town."
