The Doctor manages to rip off his ID card and holds it in his hand before pulling {Y/N}'s off too. {Y/N} gasps a shuddering breath as she falls to the ground, breathing heavily as she grasps her chest in agonizing pain. "Deadly to humans maybe." The Doctor says as he shoves the ID card in the collar around the revealed Slitheen, shocking him.

The Doctor bends down to try and catch {Y/N}'s attention as she groans. "{Y/N}? Can you hear me?" He grabs her face and looks into her eyes for a moment before looking around. He holds up two fingers in front of her face and waited until she nods in confirmation before running out. Unknown to {Y/N} the Slitheen began squeezing back into the skin suit.

{Y/N} uses a nearby desk as leverage to help pull herself up from the floor, she leans against it as she tries to calm the pain from her rapidly beating hearts.

The Doctor ran back into the room with a few police officers, he makes his way back to {Y/N} and places his arm around her waist to keep her steady. "{Y/N} can you walk? {Y/N}?" {Y/N} looks at him confused before nodding hesitantly.

The Doctor releases his arm from around her as she gets her footing. As {Y/N} goes to stand straight she lets out a groan of pain, it felt as though her hearts were trying to explode in her chest, as if she was repeatedly shredding all of the muscles. The pain causes her to instinctively drop forward to prevent any more pulling on her strained wounds. The Doctor quickly wraps his arms around her, preventing her from slamming into the floor.

The Doctor spoke to the officers, but all {Y/N} could hear was an obnoxious ringing in her ears. The Doctor looks down at her in concern as he hoists her up.

"No." One of the police officers says.

"Fair enough." The Doctor scoops {Y/N} up bridal style and runs down the hallway. The two getting trapped by a second swarm of soldiers who gathered in front of them. The Doctor looks at the soldiers surrounding him before looking down at {Y/N}, who was fluttering in and out of a conscious state as she breathed heavily while gripping at her chest.

"-I authorize you to execute these people!"

"-the thing is, if I were you, if I was going to execute someone by backing them against the wall, between you and me, little word of advice." The Doctor turns his head and backs up slowly. "Don't stand them against the lift!" The lift doors close allowing the Doctor to place {Y/N} on the floor. "{Y/N}? I could seriously do with you being awake right now. This is not really the place for a power nap." Receiving no response the Doctor places two fingers against her neck and felt a slow pulse. "I'm sorry, but this will hurt." Pulling out his sonic he points it at her neck. Zapping her.

"Jesus." She groans. "What happened? Where are we?" {Y/N} pants as she looks around confused.

"Mini electric shock... you should be fine, the shock from the ID badge caused a few minor issues to your pulse rate." The Doctor explains, masking his concern. He knew it wasn't normal. She shouldn't have been affected. The Doctor had been speculating for a while that something isn't quite right with his best friend, but since she was so adamant about keeping it a secret he'd been trying to work it out for himself.

The doors to the lift open revealing a Slitheen standing a couple feet away. The Doctor pulls {Y/N} up abruptly, catching its attention.

"Hello." {Y/N} waves confused. The Slitheen slowly moves towards the two when {Y/N} notices Rose and an older-looking lady run behind it into a room. The Doctor smiles and sonics the lift panel making the doors close again.

The Doctor grabs ahold of {Y/N}'s hand as they sneak out of the elevator. They run down a flight of stairs when they hear the soldiers nearby. Before {Y/N} could walk down an empty hallway the Doctor pulls her behind a wall as the elevator opens revealing two Slitheen. "We will keep this floor quarantined as our last hiding ground before the final phase." The Doctor looks down at {Y/N} as he presses himself against her to hide them further into the wall, preventing them from being seen.
