Today has been pretty uneventful, It rained all afternoon so we didn't have any outdoor activities. I spent most of the afternoon with Zack as he prepared to preach tonight. Sarah still hadn't talked to me, I wanted to give her space, I knew she didn't understand my decision, but I hoped that she soon would.
It was almost dinner time, and I could see that Zack was getting more and more nervous as the minutes ticked by
I gently kissed his lips, "You're going to do amazing,"
"You can tell I'm nervous can't you?"
"Yeah, I can tell, but I promise you're going to do amazing,"
"Thanks babe, I'm gonna skip dinner I think, I'm too nervous to eat,"
"I'll have Grace save you a plate, I'm gonna go meet everyone for dinner,"
He gently kisses me, "I love you, I'll talk to you after service,"
"Good luck Zack, even though you don't need it, you're going to be amazing,"
I walked outside and started running toward the dining hall, as soon as I stepped foot onto the grass I slipped and fell in the mud. Pain shot through my wrist and arm
"Oh my gosh Lila are you okay?" I look up to see Blake running over to me
I shook my head, "It's broken,"
"I'll take you to the nurse, it looks pretty bad,"
I sniffled, "It hurts,"
"I got you, come on,"
"Just don't tell Zack, he's preaching tonight, I don't want him to freak out,"
"I won't, I promise,"
Nurse Sophie takes a look at my arm and tells me I need to go to the hospital for x rays and a cast
"Do you want me to come with you?"
"If you want to, but I don't want you to miss dinner,"
"I'll be fine, I want to stay with you,"
"I'm going to text Luke so he knows what's going on,"
Me: Please don't freak out, but I'm headed to the hospital, I fell and broke my arm or wrist, and please don't say anything to Zack, I don't want him to freak out.
Luke: Are you okay? Do you need me to come with you?
Me: I'll be okay, it hurts, but I'll survive. I have Blake with me, he saw me fall and helped me to the nurses building
Luke: Just be careful okay?
Me: I will, I promise.
Luke's POV
"Lila's on her way to the hospital,"
"What happened?" Josie asks
"She fell and broke something in her arm, or wrist,"
"Is someone going with her?"
"She said Blake saw her fall and helped her to the nurse, so he's with her,"
"He probably caused it," Sarah says
"Be nice Sarah," Josie says
"We can't tell Zack until after the service,"
"The service starts soon, she's going to miss it,"
"She's going to be so upset, I know she was looking forward to it,"
Lila's POV
"Ow that hurts,"
I had just arrived at the hospital and had been rushed to the x-ray machine, the nurse kept moving my arm which made it hurt more
