"Lila, time to wake up," Sarah says, gently shaking me awake
"Five more minutes,"
"It's almost 8:00, we're leaving here in half an hour,"
I slowly got up out of bed. I was tired since I had taken a nap during movie night, I wasn't able to sleep well last night.
I quickly got dressed into the outfit Sarah had laid out for me. My hair was still wet from the shower I had taken last night and was slightly wavy.
"Lila, you're gonna miss breakfast,"
I wasn't too hungry, the pizza we ordered for the movie night didn't agree with me, I had felt sick most of the night.
I grabbed my phone and bag, before walking downstairs to the dining room.
"Good morning sweetie, there's still breakfast in the kitchen if you're hungry," Sarah's mom says
"I'm not hungry, but thank you anyway,"
"Everything okay?"
"Yeah, I'm just tired, and my stomach hurts from the pizza last night,"
"It made me sick too,"
"Hopefully you feel better soon, I know you guys are going out to lunch today after church,"
"Yep, we're going to Webster's Diner,"
"The boys don't know I'm coming back though, We didn't tell them last night. I wanted it to be a surprise,"
"They'll be surprised. It's been two months since you came to church with us, and we've missed you,"
"I've missed going. I just need to be around my friends,"
"Good thing its time to go, I'll meet you, girls, in the car,"
"Isn't dad coming?"
"He's driving separate today, they have an Elders and deacons meeting after church,"
Sarah and I walked outside and got into the car.
"I'm excited to surprise the boys," she says
"Zack texted me good morning, but I haven't opened it yet, I wanna wait until we get to church, then it'll make it seem like I just woke up,"
"Good idea, I haven't stopped texting Luke since I woke up this morning,"
"I noticed. I think it's sweet though,"
"It makes happy, knowing that I get to text him as soon as I wake up in the morning. He's almost always awake before me. Especially on Sunday because of Worship band practice,"
"I love hearing him sing. Is there anything he can't do?"
"I know, he's so good at everything!
"Zack's the same way though, he's good at so many things,"
