Twins!

We had been walking around the mall for several hours, Sarah and I each had several bags in our hands.

"Let's go back to my house so we can play games with the guys," Sarah says

"Finally," Zack says

We had just gotten into the car when my phone started ringing

"Hello?"

"Hey Lila, We're on our way to the hospital, the babies are coming, You're going to stay with Sarah's parents tonight, okay?" Dad says

"Okay, keep me updated,"

"We will, We love you,"

"I love you guys too, be careful,"

I hung up the phone and put it back in my pocket

"Everything okay?" Luke asks

"Yeah, My mom is headed to the hospital, the babies are coming,"

"That's exciting, do you want us to drop you off at the hospital?" Zack asks

"No, I'm gonna hang out with you guys, I'll go visit once the babies get here,"

"Are you sure?" Luke asks

"Yeah, I don't want to be there for the actual birth, so my dad will call me when they're here and I know they'll send pictures too,"

"I'm so excited, I can't wait to see them!" Sarah says

"I'm nervous, I haven't been around babies that much, I just want to be a good big sister,"

"You're going to be a great big sister Lila, You've spent so much time with Grace and Emmy that you'll know exactly what to do," Zack says

"Emmy is the first baby I had been around since I was a little kid, I was terrified when I watched her alone for the first time,"

"You're going to do great Lila, don't overthink it, or worry too much about it,"

"Let's go back to Sarah's house and play games, that'll help distract you from the anxiety," Luke suggests

"Yeah, I guess you're right,"

We drove back to the house, my mind kept racing. I kept thinking about everything that was going to happen and how my life would change forever in the span of a few hours.

"Are you okay Lila?" Zack asks

I nod, "I'm okay,"

"You just stared off into space, not even noticing that we're here,"

"Sorry, I just started thinking and got lost in thought,"

I got out of the car and walked inside Sarah's house, Zack followed behind me. We walked downstairs to the basement where Luke was already setting up stuff for the game night.

"There you are," Luke says

"Yeah, I'm here, but I'm going to run home for a minute and pack a bag since I'm staying here,"

"Do you want me to go with you?" Zack asks

"It's okay, it won't take me long,"

"I want to go, I want to spend the time with you,"

"If you want to,"

"We'll be back," Zack says

"Take your time, Sarah is getting a shower and stuff so she'll be a while,"

"I'll take one at my house before I pack my stuff,"

"I can pack clothes and stuff for you if you want," Zack offers
