‘Who’s Juliette anyway?’ Shane asked while munching happily with her taco. Although it isn’t ladylike but Damian still loves it. ‘Why would Sebastian call me by that name?’ She asked again. Damian smile fell into a downward crest. ‘It is a really long story, Shane.’ Damian replied. Shane narrowed her eyes at him and then sat back with her arms crossed. ‘Okay, I am all ears. I heard about her being your sister, so was she a Damn?’ She asked. Damian smiled in amusement by her bluntness.
‘No, she was a human.’ Damian replied and her eyes widen in shock. ‘I was about five years old when my mother left me to this old lady. There, I met Sebastian whom was two years older than me and a younger girl named Juliette. All of us called that old lady, grandmamma. It was then both Sebastian and I had no idea of our true father. We were all taken in by grandmamma and all of us were orphans except for Juliette. Grandmamma is Juliette’s true grandmother and her father went off to the city for work. Because of that, Juliette eventually became our little sister. As for why he called you by her name is because you had her eyes.’ Damian said.
Shane nodded to show that she was listening attentively. Damian smiled back and took a bite of his taco. ‘Sorry, Damian but I overheard your conversation about her death and also Josephine’s death as well. I had also seen Sebastian stabbed you. But I do not understand. What did you promised them?’ Shane asked.
Damian frowned and hesitated to tell her. He knows that he could trust her but he wasn’t sure if she would believe in him. ‘I promised them to change our father’s way of thinking. I promised them that I would be able to make father allow them to love and also show father that he had a heart.’ Damian replied but neglecting an important information to tell her. ‘Why would you do that? And you said you’re not a Damn, so are you a devil?’ She asked. She was still frowning and Damian knew that she was still confused. Damian shook his head. ‘Allure is not a Damn as well because her mother isn’t human but a demon, she is a devil. But I am not a Damn or a devil. I am what Hell calls me as the Grey.’ Damian said.
‘Grey? What is that?’ Shane asked. ‘Dominic that bastard lied to me!’ Damian cursed in sudden realization and quickly turned to Shane and smiled. ‘You know that white means that it is pure, it is a symbol of angels.’ Damian said. Shane nodded again. ‘Black is also a symbol of demons and devil.’ Damian said. ‘If I mix black and white what would you get?’ Damian asked.
Shane’s eyes widen and she stared at Damian for a long time which made Damian felt awkward. She swallowed twice and Damian smirked at her shock look. ‘You’re half angel?’ She asked with a low whisper. Damian nodded while still smirking. Her mouth fell open and forming an ‘O’ shape and she could not speak. Damian was holding back his laugh as he stared at her shock look. Damian finally couldn’t withstand and burst into laughter.
‘So that black glowing bird humanoid thingy that flown out of the forest was you?’ she asked. Damian stared back at her now confused. He quickly search through her mind and found the image. He smiled and then nodded. ‘Yes, mon seul et unique. I am that black glowing bird humanoid thingy.’ He said with a low chuckle.
She blushed which made Damian look at her with a little confusion. Why would she blush? Damian didn’t understand. ‘You’re beautiful.’ She said softly and Damian caught it. His eyes widen and stared at her which made her blushes even more. Damian stood up and sat next to her. She didn’t move a muscle. Damian whispered to her ear which made her shivers. ‘You’re more beautiful, missy.’
He moves to the front of her lips and give her a soft kiss which sends electrifying pulse through both their body. ‘Mmmm……’ Damian move away and lick his own lips. ‘That tastes good.’ Damian said. Her face turned into a beetroot red which made Damian chuckled once again. He pulled her closer to him and she let him do it. ‘Don’t you dare think that I am easy, Casanova.’ She said and felt Damian’s chest vibrate with his laughter. ‘Not once, love, that I have thought you as easy.’ Damian said with his British accent. She pushed away and stared straight into his eyes. ‘How come you never had that before?’ She asked. Damian frowned and stared back at her to interpret her question. ‘That accent!’ She demanded to know. ‘Oh, I was a British, love. Before I was banished and cursed to be human and to become this monster again and again.’ Damian said as though it was the most common thing in the world. But she knew that deep in Damian’s heart, he hated himself. ‘You’re not a monster, Casanova.’ She said. Damian’s eyes widen for a moment and then kissed her forehead again. ‘I am no angel, missy.’ He said.
