Jackson just couldn’t bring himself to trust Dominic. At least, he is now sure he could no longer trust this man. Although he knew Dominic is Damian’s true brother plus devil and is the only person in the world that could help Damian understands what is going on, he still couldn’t trust him. At least, not after what he did.

It was just a day after Damian was hospitalized. Jackson had driven his way to Tyler’s place to pick him up to visit Damian together. There, he asked Tyler if he had ever thought such things would have existed. Angels, Demons, Devils, whatever that is supernatural. Shockingly, Tyler said he doesn’t believe in such stupid things and all that can only be in the movies. When Jackson heard that, he couldn’t help but wonder what had happened to Tyler. Jackson asked Tyler if he remembers what happened in Damian’s car. Then, Jackson realized that all Tyler’s memories about that incident have been completely erase. The conversation with Dominic, the incident in the car, the argument they had with Dominic, all of them where completely erased.

Jackson didn’t know what to do. He could only act as though everything was normal and that he didn’t know what happened. For one whole day, Jackson had been wondering how Tyler had lost his memories and who had deliberately erased those memories. But later that day, all the questions were answered when Jackson’s doorbell rang.

‘Dominic? What are you doing here?’ Jackson asked as he was shock to see Dominic. How Dominic knows his address? ‘Come in.’ Jackson invited.

‘No, I just want to say something and I’ll have to leave.’ Dominic shook off Jackson’s offer and stared straight into his eyes. ‘Look at me straight in the eye, Jackson.’ Dominic said. Obediently, he did it. In his mind, he was wondering if it is something serious. ‘You’ll forget all the events about Damian’s demonic or angelic form, you are to forget what you had learnt about Damian’s true identity but to only remember that Damian is a normal teenager with normal problem.’ Dominic said in an utterly calm tone that seems to ring in Jackson’s ear.

Even after Dominic had left, Jackson had stared out in the air for a full minute. It wasn’t because Dominic’s compulsion had worked on him but because he was shock. Damn! So Dominic was the one that erased all Tyler’s memories! Jackson thought as he slams the front door shut. But why didn’t it work on me? Jackson thought.

But it didn’t matter, Jackson knew that this man, Dominic, cannot be trusted and he had to keep a good eye on him.

Here, in the class, Jackson stared at Tyler’s back and then Damian’s as both of them put a bored expression and stared at Mr. West blankly. Somehow, Jackson knew he had to tell Damian that Dominic cannot be trusted and he had to be careful. But he hadn’t has a chance to talk to Damian. Whenever he tried to approach Damian whenever his alone, something would suddenly come up and he would lose the chance to talk to Damian, this made him utterly annoyed.

Suddenly, Damian push his chair a little to the back, just enough to be closer to Jackson so they could talk.

‘Jack, which class is the new girl in?’ Damian asked with a smirk on his face. Jackson smiled knowing that although Damian is now a supernatural creature, Damian is still Damian and he hadn’t changed.

‘She’s a junior, bro.’ Jackson replied. ‘One year older than us, you would have no chance. Besides, most of her classes are with Dominic. I think she’s interested with him.’ Jackson added teasingly. He heard Damian grunt and kicked the chair in front of him by accident which made Jackson chuckled.

‘Not funny, bro.’ Damian said with anger. ‘If he touches that girl, I swear I’ll tear him to pieces.’ Damian added. It was funny how Damian could say things like that knowing he would have no chance of doing that.
