Scene 1

Back at Naomi's placement, she's having a harder time than ever trying not to show favouritism. Yukie neither knows of nor understands the principles of child care, so she sees any ignorance as Naomi disliking her.

直美のボランティアの職場では、今日、好意を示さないことはさらに困難です。雪恵は育児の原則を知らず、理解もしていないので、直美の無知は彼女を嫌っているですからと感じている。

YUKIE

Nao-chan!~ Yukie beams as she enters the room. She rushes up to Naomi as soon as the neighbour's mum gets her coat off her. Etsuko sighs at how much energy she has that early in the morning and squats to put the coat and violin in Yukie's Cubby.

直ちゃん!〜雪恵は部屋に入るとニヤリと笑う。隣人のお母さんが上着を脱ぐとすぐに直美に駆け寄る。悦子は早朝にどれだけのエネルギーを持っているかを見てため息をついた。それから彼女はしゃがんで上着とバイオリンを雪恵の収納棚に置きます。

NAOMI

Go play with your friends. She complies.

お友達と遊びに行ってください。彼女は従う。

Scene 2

The staff are serving breakfast in a buffet style. Yukie decides to get her words in as Naomi serves her.

スタッフはビュッフェ式朝食を提供しています。直美が彼女に仕えている間、雪恵は彼女に会話をさせることにしました。

YUKIE

Nao-chan! Thank you, also- Naomi interrupts.

直ちゃん！ありがとう！ちなみに-直美は中断をします。

NAOMI

Shh, it's Kobayashi-sensei, here.

シイ、ここで小林先生を呼んでください。

YUKIE

Oops, Kobayashi-sensei, when are you-

おっと、小林先生、いつで-

NAOMI

There are other hungry kids behind you.

あんたの後ろに列を作っている他の空腹の子供たちがいます。

YUKIE

Oh, yeah sorry.

あー分かったごめん。

Scene 3

Yukie ambushes Naomi by offering to help clean up near the end of breakfast club.

雪恵は朝食クラブの終わり近くの片付けを手伝うことを申し出て直美を罠にかけます。

YUKIE

Let me help you.

NAOMI

Ok.
