Chapter 18

HELVRIC'S POV

Our rehearsal is done. I was about to storm out to my room when Ceila suddenly appeared in front of the door.

What happened earlier left me speechless. I didn't expect that the woman that I've been looking for  almost 2 years is this lady who's in front of me, blocking the way.

"Helvric," she called my name. She tried to reach my hand but I stepped back and hid my hand behind me. "What are you doing?" I asked her.

"Do you want to have dinner with me? Let's talk about us," she said, cheerfully.

"Us?" I raised a brow.

I don't know, I should be happy that I finally found her. I've been curious who she is. I am so eager to know her and what kind of a woman is she, but it turn out that she's not my type. She's just one of those girls who wants my body and my money. She really don't love me. If so, how can she use her feelings for me to harm others? And, how could she treat Reina like that?

Her eyebrows furrowed out of confusion. "Aren't you happy that you already found me? Hindi muna kailangan na hanapin ako." She bit her lower lip then she took a sigh. "Tell me? You're looking for me, right? Because you like me," she said as her face softened and smiled.

"Yes. Hinanap kita. I wanted to know the woman who gave me a pleasure that I can't forget. I wanted to know your name, what kind of a person are you," I stated. "Do you know that I've been wishing that you will be the woman whom I'm looking for? Hinahangad ko na sana, ikaw na ang para sa akin," I said.

Umiwas ako ng titig sa kaniya. "Nagkamali pala ako," seryosong sabi ko.

"W-What do you mean?" she asked, tears starting to shimmer in her eyes.

"Hindi mo ba talaga plinano ang lahat? I was so drunk that time and broken-hearted. I'm not stupid para hindi ko malaman na una palang, nakita mo na ako. As you said, you're watching me until I went out and followed me to my room," I said, "and y-you like me? For 9 years?"

"Do you expect me to like someone who will do anything, doesn't even care if she hurt someone?" naiinis kong tanong sa kaniya.

This time, her tears fell. "Hindi mo ako masisisi! Mahal kita. I have to grabbed that opportunity. Sa tingin mo, bakit hindi ako nagpakilala sa 'yo? Sa tagal ng panahon, bakit hindi ako nagpakita sa 'yo? Katulad rin ako ni Reina na gustong-gusto ka pero nahihiya ako. Wala naman kasi akong plano, but..." she sniffed, "I'm seeing you starting to like her! I'm just afraid. I'm afraid to lose you!" she yelled as she balled her hands.

"Do you know what I hate the most?" I seriously asked.

Her forehead creased as she wiped her tears away. "You hate broccoli," she answered.

"Other than that," I said as I stare at her seriously. She remains quite so I said, "Traitor."

"I hate traitor," pag-uulit kong sabi.

Her eyes widened. "Helv--" I cut her off.

"Shut up. Galing na mismo sa 'yo, you did everything para mapalayo ako kay Reina," sabi ko. "What did you just say? You chose to be her manager than a heiress to watch her actions?" I laughed sarcastically.

"Stupid," I said.

"Helvric." Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko. "I love you so much. I don't want others to have you, " sabi niya saka hinawakan ng kaniyang isang kamay ang pisngi ko. "Sila? Sinasaktan ka nila at hindi ka pinapahalagahan. Sa akin, mamahalin kita ng totoo," sabi niya na parang baliw.

I shoved them away. "Don't touch me! My body feels so gross knowing that you're the woman whom I had spend a night with," I said then I bumped unto her shoulder and passed her by.
