Chapter 15

// Faith's POV //

I don't understand.  They had to have seen the burns.  Right? I didn't feel anyone touching them, but still.  Why didn't he say anything? Im deciding to just ignore it and focus on not falling off of Jaden's back.

Jaden is now running around the house with me on his back and I'm laughing like crazy because of it. He's also almost dropped me a few times.

I feel him start to slow down as we reach the kitchen. Once we're both through the doorway, everyone who's in there looks at us.

"You c-can put me down now, if you want." I whisper to Jaden as everyone turns back to their own conversations.

"Nope. I'm good." He says with a laugh

"Okay then." I say with a giggle

Jaden then walks over to the counter, "good morning everyone." He says maybe with a little too much excitement

"Morning. What has you so happy this morning?" Bryce says glancing up at me

"Nothing really. We were just running around the house." He explains

"Yeah we saw." Anthony says while laughing

"Well hi Faith. Sleep well?" Asks Avani

"Uh yeah I-I guess." I reply

"Anything interesting happen?" Asks Josh

"Uh what do you mean?" Now I'm so confused. I was sleeping and then I woke up. How would anything be "interesting"?

Before Josh can answer, Jaden cuts him off, "he means did we have sex or something like that."

"Ha! No we didn't. What guys and girls can't be friends in this city? Plus, I find it funny that you think Jaden would like me like that." I say with a laugh.

Everyone looks at each other for half a second before laughing kind of awkwardly. "Anyway, I wanted to say sorry about last night. I d-didn't mean to freak out anyone. A-Also, it's no one's fault. My b-brain added people in the living room when I w-was walking back in there, so i panicked. I'm all good now, thanks to Jaden and G-Griffin." I tell them

"You didn't freak us out Faith. We understand. We're just happy that you are okay." Kouver says

"Okay good. Also, I m-made my decision for the house thing."

"Awesome. You're welcome to move in here or Sway. We'd all love to have you." Thomas says

"Thank you. However I don't think I will be moving into a house..."

"What? Why?" Jaden cuts me off

"Well for one, I'm not living with a bunch of boys, no offense. T-Two, there is a lot of people who live in the Hype House and I don't think ill be able to handle it. Three, I b-bought an apartment in LA before I even came here since i figured it wouldn't be able to deal with all the people."

"Hang on. You already made a decision before you showed up?" Asks Addison

"Yes. I thought that I'd meet all of y'all before I finalized moving here. It's close by, too. So, y'all can come over whenever. My plan is to move into today, I just need someone to drive me over there, if that's okay." I explain
