Sweetheart -HIATUS

Chapter 17

// Jaden's POV //

As the movie ends, I'm upset with Ellie's choice but whatever. Im gonna need to watch the 3rd movie. I don't know why I love these movies, but I do.

I feel Faith's breathing even out and become heavy. I continue to play with her hair as I look down at her. She looks so peaceful while sleeping. She has a slight smile on her face too. God she's looks so adorab- I mean in a...friend way...right? Yeah we'll go with that.

I grab my phone to check the time. 1am. Shit. I better head home before the guys think something happened.

I slowly move out from under her and pick her up bridal style. I bring her into her room, gently place her on her bed, and pull a blanket over her. I lean forward to kiss her forehead, but decide against it last minute.  Instead, I find a sticky note, write her a note and place it on her phone next to her.

With that, I quietly leave her house and head to my car. It takes me about 30 minutes to get back to Sway and I'm praying that everyone is asleep.

Sadly, my prayers were unanswered as I see Bryce, Addison, Noah, and Dixie sitting on the couch watching a movie. They all look over at me once I close the door. I sigh heavily. This is gonna be a fun conversation.

"Where have you been?" Bryce asks

"I was at...uh...at Faith's new apartment. It's a really nice apartment too." I reply

"Ohh you were there for like 12 hours. What did you do? Or do I not want to know?" Bryce asks with a smirk

"Shut up Bryce. Nothing happened. She gave me a tour of the apartment and then we just hung out. Faith fell asleep during the movie. She even helped me with a music thing." I say as I sit down on the couch with them.

"You guys would be cute. I'm just saying." Dixie says

I roll my eyes, "I just met her guys."

"Yes we know. You both continue to remind us and your fans. But don't think we didn't see that little moment in the car during her live. You seemed to stare at each other a little too long." Addison tells me

"I totally forgot about that. Are we all over TTR again?" I ask

"It's just a picture of your fingers on her chin as she's looking at you. Most fans seem fine with your relationship. But, girls are hating on her looks. Like they normally do." Noah tells me

"Fuck. I hate this. She seems to trust me and I don't want her to be hurt by the haters."  I say while frustratedly running my hand through my hair.

"It'll be okay Jaden.  She'll be okay and you'll be there if she's not."  Addison assures me

I smile at her, "oh I learned that Fay has perfect pitch, so that's incredible.  She just grabbed her guitar and just played the chords to 'So What!'.  She was even on key and everything." 

"Why was she playing your song?"  Noah asks

"Oh I was trying to figure out something to release and she came up with an acoustic version of 'So What!'.  It sounded really good too."  I say smiling as I remember her voice
