"SO... HOW'S WORK?" BUNGAD sakin ni Andrea while grinning mischievously as I sip my coffee while we're at my balcony, chillin'.
"What? Nothing new." I replied flatly habang inaalala yung mga nangyari kanina.
Oh well, not to mention Khalil's childish behavior kanina sa office.
"Oh you know what I mean." She replied and rolled her eyes.
"I obviously don't. What are you trying to imply. Exactly?" I replied back while staring at the pool. Yup, I do get what she meant tho.
"Ang ibig kong sabihin ay, kung anong nangyari kanina knowing you spent your day with the two kuya's." Paliwanag ni Andrea habang tinatarayan ako.
Isang buntong hininga naman ang lumabas sa bibig ko.
"As what i—" I was about to answer her when suddenly my phone rung so I immediately stretched my arm to get my phone.
"Hello?"
"[Oh, hi! Is this miss Dawn Kourtney Gomez?]" Mauturidad na may pagka galak na boses ng isang babae ang bumungad simula nung masagot ko ang telepono.
"Ah yes. I am her." I confidently stated knowing this is not just a prank or something.
"Oh, hello miss Dawn. This is Precious Hans. The assistant of Premieré CEO, Ms. Richie Villamonte." Panimula ng babae na nagpakilalang assistant ng isang kilalang CEO ng isang magazine company dito sa Asia at mga kilalang celebrities lang o most influential people ang pinipiling maging cover girl sa kanilang magazines kaya swerte ka kung maging isa lang cover girl nila.
"Ohhh" I tried my best to monotone my voice because I'm literally squirming right now! At ayokong magpahalata na nakikita ko na kung saan papunta to!
"[Oh! here's madame Richie, she wanted to talk to you personally.]" Aniya at narinig kong binigay nito ang telepono.
"Hello miss Dawn Gomez—" Panimula ng CEO ng Premiere Magazines.
Then continued. "—so, I just wanted to collaborate with you. I wanted you to be the cover girl. Nagustohan kita di lang dahil maingay ang pangalan mo ngayon lalong lalo na sa mga millennials and Gen Z, I've also read your autobiography and I'm amazed and inspired with what you went through.]" She be dropping the bomb after our quick catch up.
"Oh thank you ma'am!" At di maitatanggi ang kasiyahan sa boses ko dahil sa sinabi nito. It's been a while since I've been a cover girl!

After all the things that had happened.
"But—" Ang ngiti ay naging alanganin nung marinig ko ang pahabul niyang saad rason para mas kumunot ang nuo ni Andrea na grabe na ngayon ang pagtataka kung sino ba ang aking kausap sa kabilang linya.
"[You're gonna be working with someone. I don't know if the rumors are true but anyway, I still want you to hear it from me that you're gonna be working with Calvin as a loveteam aside from your photoshoot with the cover.]" And after that, all I could hear is my heartbeat that's beating fast.
But I immediately came back from my reverie when miss Richie started talking on the phone again. "[I mean, it's just a rumor right? Kayo pa rin naman diba. So perfect lang yun kasi kahit sa Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia ay kilalang kilala kayo roon. People couldn't get enough with the two of you!]" Nanunudyong wika ni Ms. Richie sakin na tinawanan ko naman.
