THE DIVINE REALM SERIES: THE BEGINNING OF THE DIVINES

CHAPTER 28 - INTRA'S DISAPEARENCE

Drake makes his way out of the shrine, still wondering where Intra might have disappeared to, or did the Divine beasts do something to him. Once out of the shrine, Drake looks up into the night sky "We were down there that long" Drake mutters to himself as he begins to see something moving in the star lit sky. Peering into the sky he sees wings glistening in the sky from the moonlight. It is Yorshimiree along with Leviathan and Storm-grey.

Drake clenches his fists as he looks up at Yorshimiree flying through the sky, "WHAT DID YOU DO TO INTRA?" Drake yells as an immense gust of wind blows towards them. Yorshimiree, Leviathan and Storm-Grey do not even pay any attention to Drakes yelling, until the immense gust of wind hits them. They all come to a halt in the air and begin looking down towards Drake. Leviathan aggravated flaps his wings frantically nose dives towards Drake on the ground.

In a big puff of dust Leviathan crashes into the ground in front of Drake. Leviathans large front claws emerge from the dust crashing down in front of Drake. "Intra is not your concern, human" Leviathan says as the dust clears revealing Leviathans pearly white scales and yellow spikes running down his spine. Leviathan's deep blue eyes fiercely looking down on Drake.

"Intra is my concern, as weird as he is, he is a friend" Drake says as he stares back at Leviathan with an unhappy expression on his face. Leviathan's facial expression begins to get more aggravated as he starts gritting his teeth as he lets of a small puff of smoke from his nostrils, Leviathan then slowly leans towards Drake. "LEVIATHAN" Yorshimiree yells as he glides down to the ground behind him, followed by Storm-grey who remained silent.

Leviathan grunts as he grits his teeth, while moving away from Drake. Whilst Drakes attention turns to Yorshimiree. "Where is Intra" Drake asks Yorshimiree with a distressed expression. "Intra is not who you think he is Drake; He is paying for his crimes" Yorshimiree explains.

Drake stands there confused as to what Yorshimiree was saying, "What crimes?" Drake asks with a confused expression. Yorshimiree exerts smoke from his nostrils then leans his head down towards Drake, "If I tell you will you leave it alone and focus on your task at hand" Yorshimiree says to Drake. Drake stares straight at Yorshimiree and nods in agreement.

"Alright, many years ago Intra and his brothers plotted to overrun us they almost succeeded until, Intra, Cloud and Aeon decided to make a deal with us and together we locked away Phoenix, Druss and Codrin along with our nemesis Behemoth and Zudriax, unfortunately Cloud and Aeon were gravely injured during the last fight, they are currently slumbering in Zinayis's underwater shrine until we feel it is necessary to release them. The deal we made with Intra forbid them from returning to any of the sacred shrine's, If they did so they would be sent to the shadows along with the rest of them, now you know Intra broke his deal with us so he was sent to the shadows" Yorshimiree explains then slowly turns away from Drake as Leviathan and Storm-grey take off into the night sky once again.

Drake stands there in shock as he gazes at Yorshimiree's back, his blue scales shining in the moonlight, "Wait, who are Behemoth and Zudriax? why does Intra think that his brother Cloud and Aeon are dead? Intra was just trying to help me speak to you, I would've told him not to come if this was going to happen to him, you can't do this to him" Drake shouts in a confused tone.

Yorshimiree turns his head back towards Drake "Enough, I have answered you question. You have two days to stop your brother or we will" Yorshimiree says in annoyed tone then takes off into the sky.

"Two days, you said I had three I don't even know where he is" Drake shouts at Yorshimiree as he flies further up into the sky. Yorshimiree not paying attention to Drake shouting continues to fly off into the distance with Leviathan and Storm-grey.

Drake looks down at the ground as he clenches his fists in frustration, "Intra I am sorry" Drake mutters to himself as a tear rushes down his face. He glances back up to the sky only barely being able to see Yorshimiree still, "I will get you out of the shadows Intra" Drake says as he wipes the tears of his cheeks.

Drake then begins to think about Dragoon and how he has only two days to stop him from whatever it is that he is doing, trying to think about where he might be, then he remembers about the storm clouds hovering over Spiral Peak the other night and decides he should look there first.

He glances back in the direction of Desteria thinking about Nessa and worried about when he can see her again, so he quickly decides to go see her quickly before going to Spiral Peak, he then hastily takes off into the sky towards Desteria.

Drake lands in the center of Desteria as not caring if anyone sees him fly, he quickly rushes into the Scavengers inn, heading straight up the stairs towards Nessa's room, barging through the door he sees Nessa sitting by the window in a silky white dress that shows off her long slender legs. Drake rushes towards her grabs her soft tender body and pulls her closer to him as he kisses her gently on the lips.

"That's one hell of greeting" Nessa chuckles as they stop kissing. Drake slowly makes his way to the edge of the bed with a distressed expression on his face. "What's the matter?" Nessa asks as she gentle puts her hands-on Drake's cheeks.

Drake begins looking down as he pulls Nessa's body towards him again hugging her tightly, "Intra is gone and I have to find my brother before he's gone to" Drake says as tears slowly seep from his eyes. Nessa wraps her arms around Drake as she gently caresses his back "It will be alright you'll find him I know you will" Nessa says in a soft elegant tone.

Drake falls back ontop the bed with Nessa on top of him "Let's get some sleep, it looks like youneed it" Nessa says as she gently kisses Drake on the cheek as she lays on topof him.
