Once they were a fair distance away from Intra's house Dragoon quickly turns to Drake "We are wielding two of the most powerful divine being's swords that have ever existed" Dragoon shouted in excitement. Drake not overly bothered about the power within the sword, but instead feeling saddened over Intra being immortal and having no one to share his life with, Drake could not get the thought out of his head.

"What's wrong with you?" Dragoon asked as he nudged Drake's shoulder. Drake still not responding to Dragoon due to being stuck into his thoughts of the story he had just heard and wondering why three of Intra's brothers that helped save the world are now trapped in the shadow realm, he wanted to get to the bottom of it and know why.

They continued walking down the path said to lead to the newly found ruins for some time. Though as it started to become dark, Dragoon kept searching for a place to sleep, not being able to find anything in sight along the way, to be able to set camp, the land was flat with no hills or large stones.

"We'll set up camp here by the path" Dragoon suggested as he set down his pack. "Are you crazy, right next to the path you're going to get us killed, who knows what is out here" Drake nervously shouted at Dragoon. "Ohhh so now he talks, what does it matter, we can take turns in standing watch and with our powerful swords no one will dare to mess with us anyway" Dragoon chuckled.

Drake rolled his eyes "I swear if something attacks us and they don't kill you, then I will" Drake sighed. Dragoon just laughed at his comment and continued to set up camp.

As night fell, Drake took the first round of staying up and keeping watch. As he sat on a rock drawing little figures in the sand with his sword by Dragoon who was sleeping, still going over the story trying to imagine what Intra must have went through.

During the night, Drake began hearing scuffling not far from their camp, he was tempted to wake Dragoon but after half an hour passed the scuffling noises stopped, easing Drake's mind. Drake continued to draw in the sand with the tip of his sword, then slowly began to nod off whist sitting on the rock.

Suddenly Drake was woken up by Dragoon shaking him vigorously, "What the hell are you doing?" Dragoon shouted at Drake who was half asleep. Dragoon then slapped Drake across the face instantly waking Drake up. "You go to sleep, I'll keep watch" Dragoon said with an annoyed tone. "You just slapped me, and you expect me to go to sleep" Drake replied angrily.

Dragoon glared at Drake and pointed at the bed sack lying on the ground next to them, Drake felt angry but agreed to what Dragoon suggested, then went to lay down and get some rest.

As the night went on and Dragoon was on watch the scuffling noise returned but it was becoming louder and closer than before, Dragoon was distracted as he was scrapping a stone down his sword to sharpen it. Dragoon then felt a slight pinch on the back of his neck as if something had bitten him. He quickly reached his hand around the back of his head, pulling something out from his neck, soon realizing it was a dart, he goes to yell out to Drake but could only mumble as he slowly fell to the ground as his eyes blurred.

As Dragoon laid on the ground not being able to move, he saw several goblins approaching him and Drake from within the darkness of the night. His eyes slowly closing against his will as he falls asleep.
