CHAPTER 34 - LIFE ALTERING DECISION

Drake begins to panic as he thinks that Dragoon has just been eaten by Leviathan, he quickly flies frantically through the clouds trying to find any sight of Dragoon. As he continues to look, he notices the dark clouds begin to get thinner and easier to see through, continuing to fly around frantically searching for Dragoon, he notices Yorshimiree, Leviathan and Storm-Grey all sitting at the peak of the orc encampment, so he quickly flies down to the ground in front of them.

Once Drake reaches the ground, he sees Dragoon on his knees in front of the three dragons. Drake quickly jumps in between Dragoon and the dragons throwing his hands up in the air. "Stop, don't kill my brother" Drake yells out as he stares at Yorshimiree.

"We are not killing Dragoon" Storm-grey says as he leans his head towards Drake. "You are not?" Drake asks with a confused expression. Leviathan leans his head in towards Drake, "Oh no we are doing much worse than that" Leviathan says he moves his head towards Dragoon. Drake quickly rushes in Leviathans way "Get away from him" Drake yells as he blocks Dragoon from sight.

"Drake we gave you your chance and you failed, we've dealt with his creations, now Dragoon must face his judgement" Yorshimiree says as he steps forward. Drake looks up at Yorshimiree then turns his attention to Dragoon still kneeling behind him. "What are you going to do to him?" Drake asks in an upset voice. "He will be joining all of the other Divines that have done wrong in the shadows" Yorshimiree explains as he leans his head in towards Drake and Dragoon.

Tears start to run down Drake's cheek, "Drake step aside" Dragoon says as he struggles to stand up. "Dragoon don't make this worse for yourself" Drake cries as he puts his hand on his shoulder. Dragoon puts his hand on Drakes shoulder then raises his hand in to the air as he quickly pushes Drake aside. "YOU WON'T TAKE ME SO EASILY" Dragoon shouts as he swiftly swings his arm down.

A loud thunderous sound crackles loudly, as a large bolt of lightning strikes down onto Yorshimiree, Leviathan and Storm-Grey, all three dragons let out a loud agonizing roar as dust and smoke fill the area. Drake watches the scene with his eyes wide open in shock, as Dragoon stares at the big smoke cloud with a sinister grin.

Suddenly a large white scaley foot emerges from the smoke, slamming into the ground in front of Dragoon, its sharp pearly white claws digging deep into the ground. "You pesky human, you never should've been blessed with these powers" Leviathan snarls from within the smoke.

Drake watching in shock, quickly gets to his feet and rushes in front of Dragoon, his arms spread wide shielding Dragoon. Dragoon watching Drake shield him confused as to why.

The area begins to hotter as the smoke starts to clear, revealing a crystal light blue flame emitting from Yorshimiree's mouth, Yorshimiree quickly leans his head out breathing out the crystal blue flames towards Drake and Dragoon, filling the whole area. Drake quickly reacts by ripping out his sword, holding it directly in front of him gripping the hilt tightly with both hands. The sword instantly lights up bright green surrounding itself with a dense air, as the flames approach Drake and Dragoon, the sword in Drake's hands starts to split the flames sending it around them.

Yorshimiree growls as he lifts his head high in the air, the flames from his mouth intensify, "STOP" Drake shouts angrily as he waves his sword in the air. Leviathan and Storm-Grey start growling fiercely as they start creeping closer to Drake. Drakes expression begins to drop in fear, "ENOUGH" Yorshimiree yells as the flames recede from his mouth, Leviathan and Storm-grey slowly begin backing away.

Drake swallows his fear, then steps closer to Yorshimiree. "You can't kill my brother please" Drake pleads as he drops his sword to the ground. "After what he just did your lucky if that's all we do" Leviathan growls. "Leviathan quiet, Drake we told you, you would face much hardship should you choose to revive your brother" Yorshimiree explains as he tilts his head down towards Drake. Dragoon standing silently behind him.

"I remember what you said, I didn't want you to bring him back only to take him from me, plus you said I would face much hardship, shouldn't it be my place to deal with it" Drake says as he takes another step closer to Yorshimiree. Yorshimiree lifts his head back up, the scales on his neck glistening in the moonlight sky.

Yorshimiree stares up at the moon in the sky thinking about what to decide, then turns back down to Drake, "So be it, but know this if you need our help in the future with anything regarding your brother, we will not be there to help you" Yorshimiree says in a blunt tone as he stares fiercely at Drake. "Thank you" Drake says as he nods in agreeance.

Dragoon's face lights up with a sinister grin as overheard the conversation, Storm-Grey looks over at Dragoon and snarls, as he takes a step forward. "Storm-Grey you heard what I just said yes" Yorshimiree says as he glances at him. Storm-Grey quickly steps back "Yes master, but I still feel we should teach him a lesson" Storm-Grey says as he looks up at Yorshimiree.

"He must be punished" Leviathan snarls as he looks up at Yorshimiree. Yorshimiree closes his eyes for minute, "Yes, I do agree" Yorshimiree says as he opens his eyes. Dragoon's grin disappears from his face.

Drake's eyes widen "But you just said..." Drake begins to mutter as he stares at Yorshimiree in shock. Yorshimiree quickly moves his head towards Drake "I know what I said Drake, but he is not going to get away without some sort of punishment" Yorshimiree growls as he looks past Drake, staring at Dragoon fiercely.

"You will be sentenced to twenty-five years in exile in the dark molten depths of Kragmor" Yorshimiree says with a fierce expression. "What? Twenty-five years that's a lifetime" Drake says with a shocked expression on his face. Dragoon's face remains blank as he stares at Yorshimiree.

Sun rays begins to shine over Spiral Peak as the sun rises, "twenty-five years isn't nearly enough time for him to repent for his crimes, I am doing this out of kindness" Yorshimiree explains in an angry tone.

Drake looks down at the ground "But..." Drake mutters softly. "No, buts unless you would like him to be sent to the shadows" Yorshimiree says as smoke starts to come out of his nostrils. Drake continues to face the ground in silence. "It is settled then, Dragoon step forward now" Yorshimiree says as he lifts his head back up.

Drake silently watches Dragoon walk past him slowly with a slight grin on his face, "There's a present waiting for you once you get home, dear brother" Dragoon chuckles as he stands in front of Yorshimiree.

Drake confused with what Dragoon said, starts to think about Nessa with a worried expression on his face, he then glances at Dragoon. Dragoon's facial expression turns to a sinister grin before he disappears behind Yorshimiree's wing.

Yorshimiree,Leviathan and Storm-Grey take off into the sky heading south towards Kragmor.Drake ponders on what Drake said, then quickly shoots into the sky headingquickly towards Desteria.
