as many of his fans knew Techno was a very private person. he rarely showed his face and hates being called by his real name and prefers Techo. which is why no one knew he had a girlfriend, you.

even Wilbur who is considered one of his best friends didn't know. the only person who knew was Phil. the only reason the older boy knew was because Techno often came to him for advice and Phil was someone who could keep a secret and give great advice.

at the moment Techno was in a discord call with Wilbur, Phil, Dream, Tommy, and Tubbo. he wasn't streaming but Phil was, and they were coincidentally talking about relationships. Phil was telling the story of how he met Kristin. their story was super cute and you loved the relationship between the two of them.

"Techno? do you have a girlfriend or boyfriend? i'm not judging." Wilbur spoke through his laughed

"i uh" Techno stuttered "Phil look out there's a ghast" he said distracting the boys in the call to get the attention off of him.

you were downstairs in the kitchen while this was happening. making some dinner for you and your boyfriend. you had the stream open on your phone laughing at your boyfriends struggle.

you didn't really care if the internet knew about your relationship but you respected your boyfriends wishes of keeping his private life off of the internet. he said it was to protect you from the hate that some fans would send you because a lot of them tended to get really protective over him.

"alexa play prisoner by miley cyrus" you spoke starting to sing along while making the food. totally engrossed in the music you were unaware of the conversation happening on the stream. the music happened to be playing louder than the stream on your phone. (you can imagine any song, this just happens to be my favorite rn)

the boys were just talking about random things joking around. Techno happened to be telling a story at the moment

"it was back when i was in college before i was a drop out, stay in school kids. but anyways i was with my girlfriend and we were heading to the coffee shop.." he spoke before getting cut off by Tommy and Wilbur screaming

"GIRLFRIEND?!"
"YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND? AND YOU DIDN'T TELL US?"

"i- uh oops?" Techno stuttered

"Techno you were doing so good at keeping this a secret" Phil spoke laughing

"PHIL YOU KNEW?" Wilbur practically yelled

"uh maybe?" the older boy said while laughing

"this is where i'll take my leave goodnight everyone" Techno said before logging off the call but before he exited out he heard screaming coming from his headphones but ignored it. sighing heavily and rubbing his hands down his face.

after a few minutes he stood up and made his way to the kitchen standing the door way watching you for a few seconds with a smile on his face.

"y/n" he spoke catching your attention and continued to speak when he noticed you paused the music

"i might've slipped up and said i had a girlfriend? uh oops"

"Techno" you laughed before continuing "it's okay it was bound to happen sometime, come eat dinner foods done"

Techno was relieved that you weren't mad. but the weight was lifted off the both of your shoulders no longer having to hide your relationship from the world. neither of you knew how the fans were reacting but Techno knew one thing for sure Wilbur was going to kill him for keeping a secret. planning on his ahead to avoid the tall british boy for the next few days or maybe forever but that wasn't possible.
