"what!"
Kyoko looked at me in disbelief but I wasn't backing down. I want shuichi to be our son. I'm not letting someone else take care of that emotionally damaged boy!
"mokoto I told you not to get attached" kyoko looked at me disappointedly.
"I know kyoko but damnit that boys special" I insisted "he's smart, brave and caring. there's no one in this world like shuichi saihara!"
"you could say that about any child" kyoko rolled her eyes.
"but I'm not saying it about any child. I'm saying it about shuichi" I looked at her pleadingly "please kyoko just spend a little time with him. You'll see what an amazing kid he is"
"no. Unlike you I don't get attached to people who are about to leave" she said coldly "I learnt my lesson from last time" she muttered to herself as she left.
I felt rejected but determined. Don't worry shuichi. I'll definitely change her mind and then we'll be a happy and safe family.
