"In terms of adventures like this, you need to be prepared." Berry showed off her weapons. Knifes, guns, tasers, even office supplies, and what looks like a Volkswagen Car key.

"Why the car keys?" Chase asked.

"My mother left her car keys when she came here. I know it's not much to defend me, but my mother was the one to teach me about self defense. In her words "not all princesses need to be defenseless." She taught me the basics of self defense."

"But, was that her only car key?"

"She gave me her spare."

"Your mother really was something, I can imagine."

"I wish that you could of met her, she would have taken a liking to you very easily. Not because of your idiot ness, but because you're patient and calm, I think."

"Did she call everybody an idiot?"

"No, she was more toned down. She was my only role model and the reason why I didn't leave or end my life. It was hard, admitting it because you never had anybody leave you or you never lived a life where you never felt worthy."

"But, you could've left by now. Why didn't you?"

Berry sighed.

"At first, it was so that my mother would come back to me and take me with her because she knew that I was not a fool to my dad's tricks. But, the longer I waited and the more I acted out, the more that I realized that she's never coming back for me. Who knows what she is even doing right now? She probably is continuing her education, living her best life, making money. But I know that she still thinks about me, and one day if we ever get out of here, I want to find her."

"Hold up, did you just say "we?""

"Yes, most people go alone on this adventure, and I could have if I wanted to. But, i need somebody right by my side, because I don't want to be lonely. I could go everywhere and finish within a month, but.... oh no.. you probably don't want to know."

"You can tell me."

"It's something for another day." She giggled.

That's when Berry heard footsteps.

"Don't move." She whispered.

"What is it?"

"A thief, I can tell by their footsteps. Here, take these keys. I have a plan."

She quickly tossed Chase the car keys and they turned around to the thief, who had a collection of knifes down his belt.

"Freeze! Give me your stuff or else I will stab you two with my knifes!"

He paused for a second.

"Well we'll well, look who we have. Teenagers! Isn't that a joke! What are you two teenagers doing here, shouldn't you two be at home with your families? It's nearly sundown and the king has a curfew."

"I don't give a shit about the king." Berry started to pull out a gun.

Berry put some ammo into her gun.

"Do you even know who I am?"

"The gun looks fake. It probably doesn't even shoot well. And, what are you?" The thief got his knife ready.

"My father is a very prominent figure in this land, and if he finds out that you stole from us, then he'll punish you."

"Oh, I heard the "my dad is a cop" excuse over and over again. Think about something else, little girl."

"What do you even want to steal from us? Our underwear? Money doesn't exist and you probably get horny over the smell of vaginal discharge."

"Why isn't the guy doing anything? Is he your boyfriend? Oh, wait, I get it now, he's the human that everybody is talking about, he looks.... normal looking. Not like us."

"Listen up you sick fuckhead. You're messing with the wrong person, do you even know who I am? I'll ask you that one more time."

"For the whatever time it is, I do not have a fucking clue who you are."

Berry shot at the man, but made it look accidental, shooting at his private part.

"Princess Berry of Candyland."

"Owwww! That hurts! Ooh!"

"Chase, get behind him!"

"On it!"

Chase ran behind the thief and that's when Chase stuck the car keys into the back of his chest.

Berry went down to his level and grabbed a knife from the thief's belt.

"Just because I'm a girl, doesn't mean that I can't defend against myself. Have a good time in hell, you disgusting, perverted waste of air."

She stabbed his heart and covered his mouth.

That's when the two of them let go of him and watched him slowly bleed to death.

Chase was traumatized by his actions.

"I killed somebody."

Berry looked at him.

"In the act of self defense, if they try to harm you or kill you, then it's ok."

"But, good or bad person, I killed somebody!"

"There's no reason to act like this! Well, it's understandable after your first kill."

"I'm a murderer! You saw me kill somebody with my own hands! Even if we did it together, I ended somebody's life! And yes, they wanted to steal our stuff, but they had a family at home, and what if their story was sad? They were a person!"

"This wasn't the first time I ended somebody's life actually. I killed guards, annoying people, people that were simply in my way. Of course, when I had my first kill, I was scared, traumatized, but when somebody needed to die, I had to do it. Thieves are heartless people, they live in a nice house, in a nice city, but what more could they want? There is a whole world that they live in. Please listen to me, Chase! The people that play victim, most of the time are not the good guys! There are two kinds of people in this world, and don't walk away from me! There are the bad and corrupt people, who use people's conscience against them and then there are the good guys. WE ARE THE GOOD GUYS, CHASE! WE ARE! Please! Please, listen to me! I'm not lying at all! Please! Don't walk away from me like this! Chase! Come back!"
