LXXIII: Mayday, Mayday

"What is the meaning of all of this? Let me go! NOO!"

Chase could hear screaming from the other side of his door. It sounded like Berry, but he was never too sure with her.

The sound of nails against a glass and then a shatter of glass alerted Chase, he tried to open his door, but it was locked from the other side.

"YOU THINK YOU CAN MESS WITH ME?"

There was more sounds of glass breaking and screaming. Soon, there was a massive bang at the door.

Chase got worried and hid under the covers of his bed.

"Don't get him involved, he did nothing."

"He is the reason why you are here!"

"No he's not!"

"Oh, of course you always come wandering back for that one time of year."

"Yeah, of course, but...."

"We're keeping your father waiting. Now hurry up before he says something."

There was a loud thud of footsteps before Chase could hear the door being unlocked.

That's when he opened the door and saw a guard running away down the hall.

In the throne room, Berry was facing her father, her father was just smirking at her from a distance.

"What is it that you want from me?"

"I want to make a few things clear."

"What do you have to make clear when you're the most haziest person that I know?"

The father's smirk faded.

"You're really getting on my nerves, you know that?"

He got Down from his throne. His cape flew behind him and he walked in such a majestic way. His staff in his hand, he was ready to do something Bad.

"Let me tell you one thing. You are 18, and that is the age where somebody can get legally executed. The amount of things that you have done to ruin our perfect world is absolutely terrible and I cannot stand you. I say that I love you, but I'm fucking lying! I hate your guts!"

"I'd say the same about you."

The king, with his staff used it to lift Berry's chin up.

"You have a lot of nerve, little girl. Considering that you're supposed to be a princess."

"Just cut to the good part."

The king laughed.

"You fell right into my trap. Because you turned 18, that means I can execute you. And I always wanted to. You're my blood but you make it boil. When you came here, you always came back and for a while, I welcomed you with open arms. But, you know what? I can hurt you as much as I want. And, at the end of next month, I'm going to execute you. Think of it as a goodbye to every world that you lived in."

Berry sighed.

"So, this is what you were planning? You really hate me that much?"

"I never liked you, I loved your mother but she never loved me. That's why I hate you."

"That's not a valid reason in my book at all, not even for a second."

"Shut the fuck up and listen to me!"

"What are you even going to do with Chase!?!"

"I'm going to keep his hostage and then he will never leave. I always wanted a human.... to toy with and use to my advantage and then one day come to his world and take back your mother. Would I lie when I said that I really do love her and miss her?"

"Your plans make no sense at all."

"And you make no sense."

"Why do I need to make sense when nobody even listens to me in the first place?"

"If you weren't my blood or my daughter, what I would do is kidnap you and then hurt you bad."

"Coming from somebody that vents their frustrations through sex. What do you have to say about that? You know that I know all of your secrets. What are you going to with all of your secrets when everybody finds out?"

"Easy. Just brainwash everybody with a spell. They will forget about the truth of me. I won't have to hide anything anymore. I will be happy and free!"

"As a king, you are steering far away from the point of a king. A king is supposed to be a loyal man who listens to the complaints of the outside world. What about all of the homeless and injured? What about the overworked of Pocky Factories? You only pay attention to things that are considered alarming, but what if there are people that are in alarming situations, but you don't listen to them?"

"Then Taffy will take over if I fail as a king."

"What will she do? She isn't as mean as you but she's stupid. And what if somebody executes her? Her husband is from a different kingdom and he has to go to his kingdom and attend affairs once in a while."

"Considering you never met the man that much before, you awfully know a lot about him."

"I slept with him once. He does good sex but he is too stupid for my liking."

The king's mouth dropped.

"How in the hell did I raise a whore?"

Berry just shrugged.

"It's not my fault that I'm charming and attractive. It just comes to me naturally."

"Your mother would be so disappointed in you."

Berry looked at him.

"Now you care about what mom thinks? Really, now out of all moments? Oh god, Dad, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You said that you cared for her but you ignored her! You said you loved her but it was all a lie! If mother was here, she would tell you the truth! Because mom never took shit."

"But she took me."

"That's because she was held hostage by you! That means nothing!"

Berry started to turn away.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm saying my goodbyes to everybody. I'm sorry for being a disappointment to you and your absolutely terrible bloodline! I'm SORRY FOR RVRN BRING RELATED TO YOU!"
