"So, I can understand why there is a Sugar and Sweet, but why is there a Toffee and Cherry Estate area as well?"

Chase and Berry were walking through the backyard of the west Cherry House at this time. It was a leisurely afternoon, and no parties were happening at this time.

"Well, Toffee is a boy's name and Cherry was the name of one of my aunts. I told you that my father was the youngest of 10, but he was also the only boy in the family. Toffee was the name of one of my aunt's fiancé's and then Cherry was one of my aunts."

"I remember you telling me something like that."

"Well. You know Margarette and Butterscotch. But, there were 8 more. Margarette was technically considered their half sister. Anywho. There was Gummy, then Marshmallow, Cotton, Jelly, Kit and Kat the twins, and then Cream. And then Butterscotch, my father."

"I thought he was a Kyle."

Berry sighed.

"That is his human name. Technically, everybody here has an unofficial human name. Even Margarette had a Candy name, which was Cocoa. Sugar and Sweet were actually Sonia and Sophia. Gummy was Bridget, Marshmallow was Tiffany, Cotton was Kristina, Jelly was Janelle, Kit and Kat were Caroline and Carolina, and Cream was Amy."

"What would my Candy name be then?"

"I don't know, maybe Rocky."

"Rocky Road?"

"Yeah."

"THAT SOUNDS AWESOME!"

Berry pushed him back.

"Now now, don't get too excited. Your Candy name is not special, it's a very common name, but it translates to many different names. Here, we take in account who you were born to, your genetics, and how you become as a person. Rocky is generally a tough name, and you might not act like a Rocky, but you look like a Rocky. For every 100 human names, there is one Candy name."

"What about your name?"

"There is a rule in place that nobody can be named after a royal family member. If that royal family member passes on for some strange reason, then that name can be used for anybody to use. Or, if somebody leaves, then they will be forgotten and their name can be used. Because there is a lack of names in the world and so many people, using human names has become quite popular of I do say so myself. It's also not suspicious for you because tons of people use these names."

"The human world and Candyland are only different on physical means, hm. It makes sense."

"I mean, the differences aren't too bad. Candisons can tell when there is a human. It's just that our blood and hair is a little different. But once a candison comes to the human world, their hair will turn into Keratin and their blood will be randomized, actually no. It's always AB negative. Candisons there have been the mystery of many. How one day they don't exist and then suddenly, boom! They appear. They blend in with the crowd, but people always find something... off about us."

"Wait, is it possible to be turned into a Candy person?"

Berry shook her head.

"There are rumors that the longer a human stays with us, the more morphed that they will become. However, nothing has happened with my mother, unless she made a potion or something. But, with all of the rumors around about absolutely everything in existence, I'll not surprised anymore."

"But does your father know about all of the rumors around?"

"Of course he does. He actually is the root of all of the rumors, he lets whatever he wants spread all around which is absolutely wrong. On top of that, he had no morals, no class, and his way of ruling is absolutely unconstitutional. I wonder sometimes what in the hell that man is doing? Like, how does he think that any of this is ok? This was not the way Candyland is supposed to be."

"Does he know what he is doing?"

"He does! That lying idiot does! But, he's cocky. He's terrible. A liar, a cheater, a player. A dickbag! That's what he is! The only person who saw his true side was my mother. Because I'll admit, he did love her. And it was a controlling obsession with her. I mean, she was pretty. She was smart and confident. But, she wouldn't see the pretty in her. If my father wasn't this terrible person, then she would be happy and still here and I would be in the castle. But, he always wants to ruin the life of the one he loves. He implanted his Mark on her so that nobody would touch her again until she reached the real world. And because of that, she's traumatized."

"After she had you and your sister, did she ever have any more kids or was she too scared?"

"She had no kids. The MAMBA that I communicate with her only communicates with her in her head. She can't see me, but she can only imagine me and at times, she might think that she's dreaming. How can she hear the voice of her daughter who clearly lives a world away? Technology here is clearly an advancement like no other. Trackers, MAMBAs, teleportation. All because of magic."

"I see."

"I'm just mad that this world has lost it's true purpose, how my father used it to change everybody to be like characters in a cliche storybook. How he wants everybody to be trapped in their own towns and how he wants to use the working class against each other so that they go and aims for their throats. I know I might be violent, but even I know when violence is not the answer. Times like this is when I realized that the only solution that I ha be now is to leave this world. What I'm doing now won't help anybody and what I can do now is nothing. I wish I could take over the throne, but it's too late. I failed Candyland."

Berry started to break down, and Chase picked her up and hugged her warmly.
