Chase and Berry were laughing as they walked through the dinner hall together with their hands held together.

After the festivities concluded, all royal members were to be at a royal dinner to celebrate the end of the festival.

For now, it was only the king, Taffy, Prince Dashing, and a few masked people at the table.

Chase and Berry took the two seats by each other and sat down. There was a massive feast of thousands of plates of food stretched along a table that extended for what seemed like miles.

"Aah! You finally joined us! How was your day? Was it fun?" The king asked.

"Very well." Berry smiled.

"I haven't seen you this happy in a while." He said.

"I just had a very good time today."

"With Chase?"

"With Chase."

There was a moment of disperse for a second as everybody seemed to be focusing on somebody or something else when all of a sudden, the king called everybody's attention by tapping a spoon with a wine glass.

"There is an important announcement regarding Princess Taffy and Prince Dashing. Please, you two can speak now."

Berry wondered, even though she was sitting right across from Taffy.

"Thank you so much, King Butterscotch."

Taffy looked down and smiled.

She whispered to Prince Dashing and that's when they nodded at each other and exchanged a smile.

"I have some wonderful news for the kingdom to hear, but I would first like for my family and friends to hear about it."

She took a deep breath with a smile on her face.

"Prince Dashing and I are expecting!"

Most of the room went up in cheers, but Berry seemed to have an expression of anger and hurt.

"How long have you been pregnant?" A masked person asked.

"6 weeks!" Prince Dashing said with joy.

Chase was confused, but looked at Berry, who was clenching the tablecloth with one hand.

Berry held her head down.

"How many kids are you expecting? If you know yet?"

"We don't know, but we have been using the magic baby soup. Hopefully, 40."

Berry's eyes filled with tears and then she put her head up and faced Taffy.

"Taffy? How could you?" Berry nearly murmured.

"What do you mean?"

Finally, Berry looked up and then back at Taffy.

"Don't you think that you two are too young to have kids? I mean, you two got married at 16 or 17 and now that you have turned 18, shouldn't you have waited?"

King Butterscotch interrupted.

"I simply don't see anything wrong with having a child at 18. It's the perfect age to start."

Berry scoffed.

"To start? TO START? What are you drilling inside my poor little sister's brain? You're making her seem like she has to live YOUR fantasy."

"I AM NOT DRILLING ANYTHING INSIDE OF HER BRAIN!"

"It sounds like you are!"

The king got up and then whispered in Berry's ear.

"If you don't cut this out, then I'm going to disown you."

"Just do it already."

"Father, what is the matter with Berry?"

The king slightly pushed Berry away.

"It's nothing to worry about."

"HEY!"

"Shhhhhh. It's nothing to worry about."

Him and Berry took their seats, but refused to look at each other.

"We hope that this will begin the newest generation of royal candisons and hope that you all help us with the preparations with the babies." Prince Dashing continued on as if nothing has happened. And then, the two of them looked at each other and gave a smile.

But, when the king was talking to Taffy and she wasn't looking, Prince Dashing gave a pleading stare to Berry, and then he blushed.

Chase looked across at him from the table and then looked at Berry.

That's when he whispered to Berry.

"I think the prince has hots for you."

"Of course he does. That's why he came here."

"Hold up. But, you.... wait."

"But I like you."

"You player."

"I take that as a compliment. But, only with Candy boys."

The king then looked at Chase but not Berry when they were laughing together.

"Berry, I must ask.... why are you against our pregnancy?"

"Well... it's not like I don't hate you two for it. I just thought that you two would wait until you both were 20 or so."

"You. You're always in your traditional ways. I feel like you would be a marvelous aunt. Imagine playing with all of my children. Ah! And then one day, you would have some with mine!"

"No thank you, I'm good."

The king glared at Berry from a distance but then did a toast with some masked people. For the pregnancy that would shape the kingdom.

That's when he smirked and then looked at Berry.

"Aw... are you jealous that Taffy got the prince and you got the commoner?"

"Power doesn't matter to me, dad. I don't want a fairytale prince."

"Says the one that is a rotten banana peel."

"Your insults are the lamest thing ever."

"Oh well."

He just sipped his wine.

But, back in her head, Berry was thinking about something.

"Taffy, why did you break out promise?"

Taffy tilted her head.

"You promised us, when we were little, that we would never get married unless it was a double ceremony. And then we would have kids together."

"Oh Berry, that was so long ago, and then when it happened, you never cared about love. And you were never home."

"But, weren't you told that you had to wait? When I left home?"

"You were never home enough that we could form a bond."

"Lies." She took a wine glass and threw it at the king.

"Berry. What was that?"

She got up.

"I'm sick. I'm sick of all these lies because of my stupid father. I'm sick of people not remembering the simplest things. Why can't you see the truth, Taffy? I wanted to safe you, I wanted to get us out of here. But when I tried to save you, it was too late. And you know what? Fuck you dad! FUCK YOU! I wish you killed yourself after killing your whole bloodline!"

Everybody gasped.

"Come on Chase, we're going."

She grabbed Chase and they walked aggressively out of the castle dining area.
