The fluorescent lights in here gave the room a little bright dim texture to it . The sexual music in this room pounded my ears to a point of deafening , I still couldn't comprehend why people constantly chose to bust their eardrums for the sake of having fun . I moved in calculated steps as I moved through the sweaty crowd , partying like there's no tomorrow . I bumped into a few people and avoided drinks spilt on me , one more tough crowd to get through till I reach my destination , I motivated myself . I pulled down my dress and moved right into the tight crowd .

Few women rolled their eyes at me , men tried pulling me into a dance , I stepped on shoes and was insulted as I made out of the crowd , I felt like I survived a war but I smiled when I saw a row of stools . I had found a new beckon of hope , I made it out alive , unscratched . I walked towards the big bar , where a bartender was fixing drinks , his back was turned to me . I sat on the stool and kept quiet , I watched him mix a drink but he was on his finishing touches , the last detail - he added freshly cut lemons and a large straw . He turned around and gave the customer seated next to me , "Sex on rocks , enjoy ," he flashed the woman a smile , she so kindly returned it with her very own , sluttery smile .

"Thank you ." She said in the most sexual voice , I've ever heard , I was close to bursting out of laughter but I managed to hide behind biting my tongue .

She stood up , giving me the ugliest glare and stomped away . Laughter erupted right after she left , he was laughing so hard , I ended up joining him . " She wishes nothing but the worst for you , you do know that ." He said wiping away his tears , " Hey, I did nothing!" I defended myself but my words seemed pointless . " I'm Mwanu," he introduced himself . Mwanu , was probably in his early twenties . He was your typical light skinned man with one half brow and lip piercing , he wore a durag , he screamed player ! . He wasn't muscular or anything , he was just lean . " I'm Harley ." I introduced myself , "Nice to meet you , what can I get you ?" He asked , once again , flashing me the smile he gave the woman earlier on . " I'll just have your fruit cocktail ." He nodded his head , "Fruit cocktail , coming right up , you drinking here with me right , I can't actually go with you to the dance floor , I'm on duty ." He said , right . I just shrugged my shoulders and nodded with a smile .

I sat there having my drink , while I listened to him talk about everything , he hinted signs about us being together . He flirted vaguely here and there , I was happy when he had customers to serve , it gave me a breather . I called Anne to check up on her whereabouts , she was doing great actually , she was dancing on the dance floor with a dude . I took it as my opportunity as he was currently in someone's attention .

I circled around the crowd , hunting my best friend down . I finally managed to size her up , she was in the company of two very large , broad men who were oggling her and she was obviously oblivious to it . This one man with dishelfed hair ,his eyes were twinkling with pure lust and desire . My feet carried me faster to my friend . The second man with sand blonde hair seemed rather pleased to see me because he sat up , straightening his posture and running his tongue on his lower lips , I cringed at that, remembering an incident that took place four months ago at Vance's parking lot . Actually I remembered how he made me feel and how I wished I was his lower lip . " You like what you see sexy?"the grating sound of sand blonde 's voiced sounded among us , I screw up my face and blinked a several times before sifting . " Come now sexy , I'll make you feel good ," he tried again .There more he spoke , was the more his voice made my intestines twist together . I focused my attention back to Anne who was now sitting and searching my eyes , she wanted me to her out of her situation .
