Jenny's pov
"nothing for you to worry about." harry said as he sat down onto the couch, patting onto the space next to him.
i didn't move, still looking at them as i crossed my arms.
"oh come on, we just wanna talk. i know we've been acting weird, but we'll be serious now." timothée said as he sat down, leaving a space in between him and harry for me to sit.
i sighed as i approached the couch, sitting down in between them. "fine, i'll tell you what i heard." i said before clearing my throat, looking straight ahead of me as i said "something about an accident...and alex."
"well, we have to kill you now." harry said, his tone was almost sarcastic, but he held a straight face—he did that a lot, whenever he'd crack a joke or say something sarcastic his face would always be straight. so i let out a laugh in hopes that he wasn't being serious, looking at timothée as he rolled his eyes.
"you dick don't scare her, we've already frightened her enough." timothée said with a small smile on his face.
"you think so? i tried hard to seem intimidating," harry tapped my shoulder so that i could look at him before he said "how was my performance?"
"you guys are confusing me, you're obviously hiding something." i said as i stood up, turning around to face them both as they sat down.
"and it's not murder, calm down." timothée said, "we just wanted to scare you."
"scare me? or make sure i won't tell anyone?" i questioned.
"you don't even have any information, so what would we want you to keep secret?" harry asked.
"the so called accident. what do you guys mean by that." i asked, crossing my arms.
"you don't need to know what happened. alex is not dead, we didn't kill anyone, okay? it was just an incident at a stupid party." timothée said as he propped his feet onto the table in front of him.
"that got her fired." i said, looking at harry, "or was she just tone deaf."
"i chose to fire her." harry said as he crossed his arms, getting at my sarcasm.
"because you said you had," i air quoted the words "covered it up."
he smirked as he slowly stood up, saying "are you getting smart with me?"
"no, i'm just saying i'm not stupid." i replied.
"and i'll figure out what happened the night of the party." i said with attitude.i didn't mention the fact that i heard what they said before they mentioned what they'd done was an accident. how timothée said that i'd be scared of them if i knew what they did. they couldn't even say what they did out loud.
"it was a vip party at a club filled with drunks, there's nothing interesting about that." harry said, taking a step closer to me.
"is that why timothée said i'd be scared of you guys if i knew?" i asked, taking a step closer as i hummed "hm?"
"okay enough of that," timothée said as he stood up, walking towards us.
"you wanna know what happened?" he asked as he stepped in between harry and i. harry began to say "what're you—", getting interrupted by timothée's hand as he raised it up, gesturing for him to stop talking.
