Jenny's pov

my eyes shot open to the sound of my alarm going off, and the first thing i saw through my blurred vision was timothée. he was laying on his back, right next to me, his head tilted my way.

my eyes still burning from the cold air, i reached over him and shut my alarm off, surprised that he didn't wake up. as soon as my head lifted off of my pillow it began to severely ache, and i plopped it back down, scrunching my face as i closed my eyes.

oh yeah, i drank last night.

i massaged my head a bit in hopes to sooth the pounding, my eyes still glued shut as i tried to think straight.

what exactly happened last night, and why is timothée in my bed.

it wasn't the reason i thought it would be, we were both fully clothed. my hair was damp, so that means i took a shower. spots of my memory flooded in, like brushing my hair after the shower—oh, and brushing my teeth.

and then someone had knocked on my door. that explains why timothée was here. i probably made him stay over something stupid.

i stared at him, admiring his facial structure as the light that sparsely peaked through the white curtains hit parts of his face. his hair was messily curly, the ash blonde strand laying where his eyebrows met while his face tilted sideways.

i couldn't stop staring, looking at everything from his eyelashes to the beauty marks on his face that i've never noticed. i slowly sat up, still admiring his beauty as i rested my head against the head board, trying not to make quick movements. once the pounding began to weaken, i slowly got out of the covers, placing my feet on the cold marble floor before standing up.

i felt a flash of dizziness as i took steps around the bed, holding onto the bed frame to make sure i didn't suddenly fall. i made it to the night stand, unplugging my phone from the charger to see that i still had a lot of time before i actually needed to get ready.

i let out a sigh of relief, drunk jenny probably knew i needed to be up early and get my shit together quick. my migraine was still so powerful, i felt like i'd just been hit by car. i put my phone down before heading over to the bathroom, whining in my head as i washed my face and brushed my teeth, my eyes on fire.

trying to calm my stomach down, i brewed a cup of green tea as i looked through the breakfast menu, tempted to order something. i've never been up this early, and i had realized that we were all going on different planes today. my heart sunk once i realized i'd be making the decision for break within the next hour.

my mind was so flooded with thoughts that i quickly looked back to the menu to distract myself, landing my eyes on the chocolate chip waffles. i looked over at timothée, he was still asleep, his arms out of the covers as his back faced me.

i was glad the hotel room phone was on the desk i stood by and not on the nightstand—i'd probably wake him up if i spoke that close to him. either way, i still whispered my order, making the receptionist probably think i was so weird.

"may i have the chocolate chip waffles with a side of strawberries." i spoke quietly, looking at the menu and back at timothée. "and um, an order of hash browns and eggs with a side of ketchup."

he liked those, right? i mean it's what i saw him eat before, if my foggy memory was even right.

"perfect, anything else?" the woman's voice politely said.
