Jenny's povi changed into my black jeans, quickly removing the shirt i was sleeping in before throwing on my black zip up hoodie over my tank top. i brought my hair that was damp from the shower to the front, propping the hood of my jacket over my head before zipping my jacket up.
i'd fallen asleep like thirty minutes ago, so half of my mind was still sleeping as i confusingly got ready. i knew i was fully awake when i had remembered everything i've been so hard on myself for.
it felt like i was repeating my first night here, but this time i wasn't rushing because i was no longer that scared of timothée. i remembered to stuff my keycard and phone into my bag before reaching my door, seeing that his foot held it open for me this whole time.
he opened the door for me once he saw me through the opened gap, beginning to walk with his hands in his pockets, his cigarette resting in between his lips.
"don't tell me this is another tradition thingy because if it is, i'll hit you." i said, following next to him, the smell of smoke making me turn my head away.
"it's not, i just came up with it. and damn, you've been spending too much time with kayla." he said, causing me to hit his shoulder anyways. he let out a "see?" as he playfully hit me back.
i nudged his shoulder back as i let out a small laugh while we continued to nudge each other back and forth down the whole hallway, trying to hold in our laughs since everyone was probably sleeping.
when we got outside i said "don't tell me we're taking a bike again."
"we're not—and if you start another sentence with don't tell me" he mocked my voice, and i let out a gasp as i watched him laugh.
"well sorry i don't want you to tell me a lot of things, half the time i don't like what comes out of your mouth." i said as we entered the parking lot.
he pulled out car keys from his pocket as he said "and the other half?"
"the other half consists of you either nodding or staring at me, but hey, i'll take it."
"be lucky you get nods." he said before we got into the black car.
i didn't know how he got the keys to this car, i didn't want to ask either. he started the car as i buckled up, watching him as he plugged his phone into the aux cord, music beginning to play.
i had recognized the song, shocked that we listened to the same music. i watched him as he pulled out of the parking space, the curls in his hair moving each time he turned his head.
one piece remained in his face as he drove onto the street, holding the steering wheel with his left hand as he reached for something in his pocket with his right. it was a blunt and a lighter, i wasn't surprised though because he had already done this the last time i was in a car with him.
"open your mouth." he said as he held the blunt out in front of my face, and i leaned in closer as he placed it in between my lips.
"peer pressure at it's finest." i joked as his eyes remained on the road while he flicked the wheel of the black lighter in his hand, igniting the fire.
"shut up we both know you smoke." he said as he slowed down at the red light.
he leaned in as he raised the lighter up to the end of it, causing it to faintly turn red before it was activated. i inhaled slowly, blowing the smoke out as he began to drive again.
his hands were busy, placed low on the steering wheel, so i put it up to his lips for him. his eyes were on the road as he leaned in, taking a hit before he suddenly beeped the horn, "ass!" he yelled at the car in front of him.
