Warning: Based of real life events that took place on 1st July, 2016! The rest you will know and if y'all are uncomfortable please skip this-

It was basically the 2nd of July. Bangladesh Army woke up at the right moment when the sun shone in his face and his alarm went off. He groaned in slight annoyance and lifted himself from his bed. He sure as hell knew that India and Pakistan were not home since they both had to leave early for some personal matters. So that left him and Bangla alone at home for the time being!

He went over to his desk to grab his phone and the minute he turned it on, he was greeted by at least more than three missed phone calls from one of his military workers who was the sergeant. He furrowed his eyebrows as he silently looked at the number of missed calls.

"Odd..." He said as he called back the sergeant. He heard the phone pick up only to hear the other end. "Hello sir! Sorry if I woke you up or something!" The Sergeant spoke but Army realized the tension and stress in his voice. "Is something wrong Sergeant?" Army spoke in his usual tone.

"You need to come down to Dhaka city sir! It's pretty much an emergency at the moment!" Army heard him ramble. "Calm down Sergeant! Can you explain what's going on in Dhaka?" He asked the Sergeant calmly. "Sir it's really hard to explain and please bring Bangladesh. Please come at Road No ##, House ##, Gulshan 2, Dhaka #### ASAP!" He heard him say and nodded.

(A/N I had my reasons to block out the whole address! No guys I don't live anywhere near there!)

"I will be there right now!" He said and closed his phone. "Now the area he said is most likely where the Holy Artisan Bakery is but what's going on?" Army thought to himself as he got ready and went down stairs to see Bangladesh at the kitchen. After he entered the kitchen, Bangladesh noticed him.

"Morning brother! Is something wrong?" She asked him as Army sighed. "Bangla, you and I have to go to Dhaka right now." Army said as Bangla looked confused the minute he said that. "Why? is something wrong?" Bangla asked Army and he shrugged.

"I am not sure but my Sergeant called me saying to come at Gulshan 2 where the Holy Artisan Bakery is so let's get going but after you finished your breakfast." Army said. They quickly finished their breakfast in less than ten minutes and took a fast train which took them straight to Dhaka.

It wasn't much of a long ride. After they got down, they walked down from the train station and looked around for any taxi's or anything to get on. "I swear our country needs more Taxi's..." Army said as Bangla nodded in agreement. "Let's just take a Rickshaw for now!" Bangla said as they waited for a Rickshaw to pull up.

They got on one and rode it too Gulshan 2. The city was pretty much the same as ever with it's people doing whatnot but of course things weren't right with the pollution and other things going on. After a while they pulled up near a street and got off.

"এটা কত হবে? (How much will it be?)" Army asked the Rickshaw puller as he got his wallet out. "না না না, ঠিক আছে। আমার টাকা নেওয়ার দরকার নেই... (No no no, it's fine. I don't need to take the money...)" the Rickshaw puller said as Army shook his head and took out 200 Taka and handed it to him. The Rickshaw puller thanked him and went off.

Bangladesh and Army walked another mile to the Holy Artisan bakery. But the minute they reached the place, they were greeted by a horrific sight. The entire place was trashed and it looked like it had been bombed but worse and there was rubble everywhere. To make things worse, there were dead bodies inside and outside the place.

Army was staring at the place which was now in ruins and just gone. He went over to a dead body to see that it was police officer which had been shot. He also saw another one shot not too far from the first one. Bangladesh on the other hand was traumatized by the scene in front of her. She started to silently cry as tears fell down her cheeks as memories of 1970 Genocide and death of the people on February 21 flashed in front of her.

Army noticed and quickly hugged her sister as she broke down crying. Army was pretty much pissed at this sight. After a while, he saw the Sergeant come up to him and he told the sergeant to wait here as he took Bangladesh somewhere else which was nearby and told her to give him a minute as he went back to him. "What the hell happened here?" Army asked him.

"Some people who were near and were able to escape said that there was an attack and when two police officers tried to stop the attackers, they were shot along with majority of the people inside the building. If my sources are correct, they used crude bombs, machetes and pistols yesterday (1st of July) at 9:20PM!" The sergeant explained.

"How many people are dead in there?" Army asked. "There were twenty-four people who have been killed in there. Nine Italians, seven Bangladeshi's, seven Japanese and one Indian, so altogether that makes twenty-four people in total." Sergent said as anger rose in Army. Hearing this just wanted to make him hunt down the terrorists and kill them off.

"Any info on the terrorists?" He asked calmly. "A person who escaped said that there were five males and they happened to be Bangladeshi..." The sergeant said knowing that this was not gonna make things better for anyone.

"We may have some lead on the five males who attacked since I saw a pistol lying about." The sergeant added as Army nodded. "Good! Make sure to find them and if you do, make sure to give them Capital Punishment as soon as possible but if they struggle and try to escape... kill them off." Army said feeling his blood-lust coming up but he calmed himself down before things got out of hand.

The Sergeant nodded as Army sighed. "This is so gonna be on today's newspapers and whatnot..." He muttered under his breath as he took some action on putting up the caution tapes and whatnot. He did a few calls and left the rest up to take care off. He went back to where he left Bangla to sit down.

She was still crying from all of this. Army sat down beside her and hugged her and tried to calm her down. "Bhaiya...?" Bangla said as Army hummed in response. "Why did this happen...? What did I do wrong...?" She said slightly breaking down in tears as Army sighed.

"Bangla. None of this is your fault okay? It's not you. I am only telling you that... there were five terrorist males that caused this." He said as Bangla spoke. "The terrorists were my people?" Bangla asked as Army hesitantly nodded.

"Don't worry. The minute we find them, they will be getting Capital Punishment." Army said not getting anything from Bangla who was too busy trying not to think too much about it. "Come on. Let's go home." Army said slowly getting up as he waited for Bangla. They headed for home without saying a word. It was going to be hard for Bangladesh to get over this.

A/N I am gonna come out and say that I wrote this behalf on my knowledge and crap that took place four flipping years ago and trust me when I say I am not proud of the people who caused this terrorist attack in Dhaka! I don't live close to where the attack happened and I hated this a lot cause innocent people died in there! Thank you for reading!
