Jaehyun stared at the bracelet on his wrist. More specifically, at the worn down letters. AFC.

"Does this stand for American Fried Chicken, Awkward F****** Child, or Awkward Forgotten Child?"

Several heads turned in his direction. All of then highly concerned and confused as to what he was talking about.

"Does what stand for what?" Sungchan asked.

"On my bracelet. AFC."

"Oh. I don't know."

Johnny turned around to give Sungchan the most skeptical glance he could. Ten panicked and pushed his head back to focus on the road because Johnny was supposed to be driving.

"Didn't you make it?"

"I think Jisung did."

"I'll call him then."

Jaehyun was already pulling out his phone to call him, but Jungwoo painfully reminded him that Jisung almost constantly left his phone at the cafe. By painfully he means Jungwoo smacked the back of his head to remind him.

Instead of calling Jisung, he tried almost everyone in the second van with him. They had recently been trying to go places legally so now they had three vans that fit seven people each. Two of them still had to go in the trunk.

"What?" Hendery answered.

"Can you ask Ji what AFC means? It's on my bracelet."

"Sure."

There were several muffled voices in the background before Hendery's voice came back.

"He forgot."

Hendery then hung up, leaving Jaehyun staring at the beads.

"Well that's unfortunate."

"He forgot?" Jungwoo asked.

"Yup."

"Well you can berate him in a bit. We're here." Johnny mentioned, pulling up next to the second cafe.

"Make sure everyone's up." Ten instructed.

Jungwoo took the opportunity to start poking the three cuddled up together in the back seat. Taeyong started batting his hand away as he buried his head in Lucas' shoulder. Jeno actually woke up, sighing when he saw he was trapped.

"You guys can head in, I'll stay with them."

Jaehyun sighed, "I think he stayed up working again."

"Again? We seriously need to talk one of these days." Johnny said with a sigh.

"Noted, but right now we have to get everyone inside so we can all give an opinion that doesn't matter and start fixing it up." Ten pointed out, getting out of the van.

The reason their opinion didn't really matter was because they had already closed the deal on the lot and put in a down payment. They all just wanted to see it anyways.

"Eighteen, nineteen, twenty..." Kun trailed off in his counting. "We're missing three. How are we missing three?!"

"Can one of them be Haechan?" Mark asked.

Haechan scoffed, "Not your lucky day yet."

"If you two even think about starting right now I'm going to lock you in the trunk together until you either stop or kill each other." Taeil threatened.

Haechan and Mark stepped further from each other. Trunks were not a good battleground.

"Jeno, Taeyong and Lucas are still asleep in the back of our van. They'll join us soon." Jungwoo reassured Kun.

Deciding that was as good as anybody was going to get, Johnny unlocked the cafe and ushered them all in. People immediately dispersed everywhere, running upstairs to check that out and daring each other to go into the basement once Yuta showed them the trap door.

"Which one can I paint on?" Renjun asked, the only one who hadn't gone to check out a different floor first.

"Technically they'll all be painted, but I was thinking that one for the mural."

Johnny pointed to the wall perpendicular to the door. It was the largest one in the room, which made Renjun smile.

After they had finished checking the place out, stopped daring each other to go into the basement, and Jeno, Taeyong and Lucas had joined them, they gathered on the main floor.

"What's everybody think?"

Johnny winced when he realized he sounded like a dad asking his kids if they liked their new house.

"Needs some work, but it'll do." Lucas piped up, followed by nodding.

They all turned to Jisung even though it wasn't like they had all given their opinion. He groaned. They really had to stop doing this.

"What now?"

"Is our second location sufficient enough?" Yuta prompted.

Jisung shrugged, "The ladder down to the basement kinda sucks, but other than that it's great."

Doyoung clasped his hands together. "Perfect, let's divide jobs and figure out where to start then."

The kids (although they're not really kids anymore) groaned.

"Thst sounds way too organized." YangYang muttered.

Doyoung made them organize it all regardless, just for the sake of those who didn't think they could possibly get it done in time for February 3rd. So now they all had jobs according to the three categories.

Decorating (painting included), equipment, and the tough stuff (like fixing lighting or making phone calls to people who specialize in that).

Now all they had to do was actually do it.
