Chenle burst into the cafe, very out of breath. Those in the cafe were very lucky that he recognized there were customers who were now looking at him very strangely. If he hadn't realized that, he would've started screaming in front of them all.

Mrs. Suh motioned for him to come behind the counter, already figuring out who could take over for her if she needed to help Chenle with something.

"What's up my dolphin? You're Mom didn't start being a jerk again, did she?"

"Hm? No. Why?"

Mrs. Suh sighed, "You just came running in here like something was wrong."

Chenle paused, having forgotten why he had run in to the cafe. I mean, there had to be a good reason if he was running. Was someone chasing him?

"Oh yeah! Kun just ate a Kit Kat without breaking it in half."

Mrs. Suh raised an eyebrow. "So?"

"He just bit into it. Without. Breaking. It."

Watching that was just too much for Chenle to handle. The only thing that could've possibly have been worse was if he bit into it sideways. He wouldn't have been able to stop himself from screaming if he had seen that.

"You ran all the way from your grandma's-"

"It's not that far," Chenle mumbled.

"You ran all the way from your grandma's in the middle of the tea party thing you were supposed to be there for... because Kun ate a Kit Kat without breaking it?"

Chenle looked down at the dress clothes he was wearing, freezing in place.

"Oops."

Mrs. Suh smiled with a chuckle, fixing his hair a bit and handing him a bag he had forgot the first time he had run out of the cafe because he was going to be late to the afternoon tea event he had just come from.

"I love you, but go back to your grandma's before you get me in trouble with her. And don't come back until it's over and you've helped Kun clean up. Got it?"

"Fine, but what is this?" Chenle tried peeking into the bag, but she slapped his hand.

"The desserts your grandma ordered that you forgot the first time. They better actually get to her."

Chenle smirked and turned to leave the cafe, but Mrs. Suh scoffing made him turn back around.

"Taxes." She held open her arms for a hug which Chenle happily gave. "Now go smack Kun for eating a Kit Kat without breaking it."

He gave her a quick salute before leaving the cafe just as he had come in; running. If it hadn't been for all the customers she had to get back to, she would've yelled at him for running with the desserts she had personally overseen the baking for. Which basically meant she was jokingly criticizing Johnny's every move.

"I'm going to pretend like I didn't just hear you condone smacking Kun." Mr. Suh commented.

"He ate a Kit Kat the wrong way. What did you want me to do?"

Her husband just smiled and kissed her forehead. "I have no idea."

"Ew. PDA." Jaemin muttered, just barely audible as he stole a sip from Mr. Suh's coffee mug that was sitting by the coffee machine.

"What was that, mister?"

Mrs. Suh waited a second until he put the mug back down to tickle him, pulling him into a hug and kissing his head as he squirmed away.

"I would like to point out there's still customers waiting." Taeil spoke up, having been working the register this whole time before he had to start taking over for Mrs. Suh a bit when he noticed she wasn't paying attention anymore.

Mrs. Suh kissed Jaemin's hair once more before nudging him away from the coffee. Her silent gesture for him to get out of their way and to stop being addicted.

"You're no fun."
