"You can't microwave water for tea and then put milk in it! There's literally a kettle right there!" Mark shouted, motioning to the kettle on the stove.
He could've lived with watching Haechan microwave his water, but putting milk in was the last straw. Not even cream. Milk.
Haechan ignored him as he sipped his tea, the steam fogging up his sunglasses. Was this planned to annoy Mark?
Absolutely.
"Don't just shrug! You're literally committing a crime!"
"What's it matter to you? You're not the one drinking it."
"It does matter because it's wrong!"
WinWin stormed upstairs, having been designated to go up and deal with them before he even realized what was happening. Mark turned around and almost smiled when he saw WinWin, happy someone with actual sense had come to help him out.
"Thank gosh, tell him how you can't microwave tea and put milk in it."
"I just did."
WinWin grabbed Mark's arm before he got any closer to Haechan.
"Take a walk."
"But I didn't-"
"Take. A. Walk."
Mark scoffed as he stormed out of the kitchen and went out the back door to pace the streets in the fresh air.
Haechan calmly sipped his tea, ignoring WinWin who was staring at him.
"Why'd you do that? You knew that would make him mad."
"I'm not the one who started this fight."
"Well you're not helping to end it!"
Haechan hesitated before taking another sip of tea to disguise it. Tea was not his favorite, but this was a minor consequence to get Mark annoyed.
"Alright, I didn't think he'd get that mad."
WinWin gave him a dead stare.
"Okay maybe I did."
"You two seriously need to work this out before you say something you don't mean."
"Tell that to Mark." Haechan muttered under his breath.
Giving him another warning glare, WinWin left the kitchen and made his way to the basement. He threw himself next to Renjun on his bed, mumbling an apology to Leon when he bounced up a little.
"Markhyuck summer fight?"
"Markhyuck summer fight."
Renjun sighed. They had started calling it the Markhyuck summer fight in hopes that's all it was. Just something that would last over the summer. But last night Doyoung had to switch beds with Haechan so they weren't in the same bunk bed set because they couldn't even handle that, and Jisung was even planning on going to his Dad's tonight just to get away from the tension.
WinWin sat up when he heard the scratching of pencil on paper, looking over to see what Renjun was drawing.
"That looks cool."
"Thanks. Johnny said I could paint a mural in the new cafe, so I'm trying to sketch out some ideas."
He flipped to the page before the one he was working on, showing a city landscape with neon signs everywhere that spelled out various phrases. Most of them being the team name Don't Need Your Love or Chewing Gum, Superhuman Cherry Bomb Chain Bosses split up.
Before that one there was a sketch of Louis, Bella and Leon and a horse that looked like it was made of chewing gum. Louis was asleep on the horse's back while Bella and Leon wrestled underneath.
Renjun's most recent sketch was of a black and white city in the rain, the edges purposefully left rough so it looked like someone had painted the city onto the wall in three strokes.
"They all look way too good to choose."
"That's why I'm making Johnny pick. Ten said he'd help me get it onto the cafe wall."
WinWin nodded, peacefully watching Renjun finish his city sketch while petting Leon.
"Did they pick out a location yet?"
"Just about to." Taeyong answered, grabbing his shoes from under his bed. "Want to come with?"
"Nah, sounds boring."
Taeyong shrugged, "Suit yourself."
WinWin tilted his head as Renjun turned the page in his sketch book and started another one, this one being a lot more rough than the other three, but maybe that's because he just started.
"Another one?"
"I want to see Johnny struggle to choose as much as possible."
When Renjun was done, he had a tiger on a motorcycle coming out of a time machine and riding through an old western town. In the background WinWin thought he saw a group of clowns, but he couldn't be too sure. Either that or it was them.
