The Uni-Kitty Plan

"You know, we've never seen the Uni-Kitty plan before. We've only seen the termination plan and the jukebox plan." Jisung noted, and Sungchan tilted his head.

"I guess not. Yuta isn't a big fan of that one."

The termination plan involved screeching and running at players while also learning their names and doing aegyo to distract them. That plan was always used for at least the first half of the game, Sungchan having to warn his team he was doing that if Yuta said to.

The jukebox plan was all about fancy moves and juking people out. It was the more risky of the two in terms of ball control, but it worked nice for the second half of games to stall for time or wear someone out. He also got to jump and twirl to throw the other players off guard, so that was fun.

The Uni-Kitty plan was a whole other animal.

"Why don't you use that plan tonight for the game?"

Sungchan paused. He could use the Uni-Kitty plan. They were going against a team they had beat 5-0 last time, so it wouldn't be as risky as using it against a higher ranked team. Yuta was probably going to have him use the jukebox plan anyways, so pulling out the Uni-Kitty plan wasn't a bad idea.

"I probably could. Yuta might not like it, but I could."

"Didn't he make the guidelines for all your plans?" Doyoung piped up.

"No, I made the Uni-Kitty plan and we both worked on the other two."

"He doesn't like it because you made it?" Jisung asked, scrunching his eyebrows together slightly.

"He doesn't like it because it's risky. A little too risky. He doesn't want me getting hurt."

"How would you-"

Jisung was cut off by Kun shouting down the stairs that it was time for them to go, and Sungchan finished putting on his last cleat.

With it being an away game, the twenty-five of them (including Mr. and Mrs. Suh because they closed the cafe early to come to his game) were piled into the van very illegally. Kun borrowed Mr. Lee's car for the night so they could have it less dangerous, but they were still seventeen people in a van meant for seven.

"Alright Sungchan, I'm thinking the jukebox plan for tonight. What were you thinking?" Yuta asked, turning around in his seat to face the back row.

"Jisung wanted to see what the Uni-Kitty plan was and I thought we could try that tonight." Sungchan fidgeted with his hands as Yuta's face went dead serious.

"That's pretty risky."

"Yeah, but we beat them 5-0 last time. It's not that risky."

"Let the kid do his Uni-Kitty plan, Yuta. What's the worst that can happen?" Johnny piped up, and Yuta started making a list in his head.

"Yeah! I want to see the Uni-Kitty plan. It sounds gay." Ten backed him up, followed by an agreement coming from someone in the trunk. Probably Haechan or YangYang.

Yuta sighed, "Fine. But you better be careful. I don't want to be running onto the field to carry you off because you hurt yourself."

"I've got cookies if that does happen." Jungwoo added, pulling the bag out of his hoodie pocket just to prove it.

"Do I get cookies if I don't get hurt?"

Right now it sounded like Sungchan was getting rewarded for getting hurt. That didn't sound like too bad of a deal.

"We'll see if I have any left by the end."

"You better not get hurt just to get a cookie, though." Mr. Suh commented, looking Sungchan in the eye from the rear view mirror.

"Dang it."

After being warned that Sungchan was using the Uni-Kitty plan for this game, the coach put him on defense just in case something happened. It wasn't often that he was on defense since he was a better striker, but he wasn't awful in that position.

It also was the best position for the Uni-Kitty plan.

"Isn't he just playing normally?" Jeno whispered to Xiaojun, the older shrugging.

"I keep zoning out because he's not screeching or doing fancy footwork."

Just then Sungchan started doing somersaults in a line, standing up after one and doing a very bad cartwheel. Because no one was around him, it couldn't be called for studs up because no one was in danger.

Half the cult then looked at Renjun to see if he had done something, but he held up his hands in defense.

"I was busy making that kid over there trip." He pointed in the direction of the kid on the other team who had indeed tripped and was now tying his shoe laces.

"Wait, what plan is this?" Kun asked, having been in the other car so he didn't know.

"Uni-Kitty."

They soon saw what the rest of the plan entitled when the ball finally came near him. Sungchan was singing a children's song as he got the ball away from the goal and passed it to an open player on his team.

He then went back to his somersaults and cartwheels, not needing to be used as a defender very much because it was kept on the opposite end the whole game. His teammates were used to this, but it was highly effective in distracting the other team.

Jungwoo made sure there was a cookie left for him when the game ended with a 4-0 win.
