"Pon tus patas en el aire!"
"Y el dinero en la bolsa!
Chenle and YangYang yelled, finger guns pointed at Taeil's bear. The bear had been adorned with multiple art projects the kids had done while they were in school, and right now it had a mask as a hat, a cape, and a clay version of Haechan's favorite sunglasses.
This was what Hendery came down to. The bear being told to put his paws in the air and the money in the bag, in Spanish.
Yet not the weirdest thing he's walked in on.
"Is this a stick up?"
Chenle shrugged, keeping his eyes on the bear.
"We got bored and thought he looked suspicious."
YangYang turned around, dropping his finger gun and his jaw.
"You look suspicious."
Hendery looked down at his white button up and black pants with a bow tie, shrugging.
"I thought I looked pretty nice, but that works."
Chenle turned around to see what was going on, but he kept his finger gun on the bear. You couldn't be too careful.
Chenle's jaw dropped, "You do look good, just weird." He shook his head, "I don't like it."
"Was the bow tie too much? I wasn't sure."
"No, the bow tie's fine. It's just odd seeing you without your eye patch."
Chenle nodded in agreement as Hendery reached up. He had forgotten he had decided not to wear it, even if it did make him feel like he was constantly missing something.
"Oh yeah, that. I didn't think wearing it to my brother's wedding was a good idea."
Now Chenle dropped his finger gun.
"He's getting married?!" He screeched.
"I told you guys this two weeks ago. I'm supposed to be getting Lucas and Renjun so we can leave together."
YangYang frowned, "Why were they invited and not us?"
"Because they're my cousins?"
"Oh yeah."
"They're upstairs then. I think they forgot too." Chenle instructed.
Hendery sighed as he thanked them, leaving them to keep yelling at the poor bear in Spanish. Lucas and Renjun had most certainly forgotten about the wedding, both of them almost completely covered in flour in the kitchen.
"Ready to go?"
Lucas and Renjun froze, staring at Hendery.
"The wedding's in two hours, isn't it." Renjun mumbled.
Hendery nodded, "Should I leave and wait for you there?"
"Nah, we've got two hours! We can be ready by then."
Both Hendery and Renjun appreciated Lucas' enthusiasm, but he had forgotten it was going to take them forty-five minutes to get there. They'd be cutting it close, that was for sure.
Taeyong walked into he kitchen, looked at the two of them covered in flour, and then the clock.
"You two shower, I'll clean up in here."
Apparently Hendery wasn't the only one who remembered the wedding.
Without hesitation, Renjun and Lucas ran to the bathroom, fighting to see who was going first. Renjun of course won after kicking his kneecaps, so Lucas helped Taeyong clean up while waiting.
No one was going to ask how flour got everywhere, but for those wondering it totally didn't involve Skip. Totally.
It was an hour before they were ready to leave, hair combed all nicely and all traces of the flour disaster gone. Johnny tried to stop them for a fashion evaluation, but that wasn't an option with the time frame they had.
Let's be honest, though, the only reason they were going to the wedding was because their moms were making them. Hendery hadn't talked to his brother since he moved out of the house, and Renjun had to be kept at least five meters from him so he wouldn't attack him.
Lucas was there for the free food.
But it was a nice service. Very nice, actually. It was your traditional wedding with all the traditional things. Except with a very modern DJ. As all good weddings have.
So rather than socialize with family they hadn't seen in a very long time, the three of them hit the dance floor and did who knows what. They weren't the only ones out there, but they were probably the only ones disgracing their cows. It was more likely that they were disgracing their goats, though.
But it was fun, they didn't have to socialize very much, they got free food, and Renjun didn't fight anyone. That doesn't mean a couple of wines glasses weren't spilled and Hendery's brother didn't trip at least five times.
Overall, it was considered a success.
