----
I wake up and realize everyone is coming today.
I cover my eyes with my hands knowing what is coming.
I look to my side and remember Josh is at work.
I stand up and head to go to the bathroom. It's Saturday. All of our friends are coming over.
Including Paige and Mikey.
I walk over to the kitchen to make some breakfast.
It is early April and we all get a spring break for 3 weeks. Nobody at school has noticed my bump because I have been wearing things that doesn't show it.
Once break ends Josh told me to not wear stuff like that any more because it would be too hard to cover up.
I get interrupted from my thoughts by my phone going off. It's Maddie.
"Hello?"
"Hi Chloe! I just wanted to let you know we are getting an earlier flight and will be there around 2:30 instead of 5."
"Oh that's great. I'm excited to see you."
"You too. Miss you."
"Miss you."
Then she hangs up.
I run my hands through my hair. I haven't told them I'm pregnant and wouldn't like them to just walk In on my having a bump.
"Hello?"
"Hey Josh. So Maddie just called and said there flight will be here around 2. Is there anytime you can get off before than?"
"I can try but I'm not making any promises."
"Ok. Love you."
"Love you too gorgeous."
Josh and I wanted to tell them together but guess not.
It's about 12:30 and Josh hasn't come home.
I walk into my room to change. If they need to know they might as well know today.
I put on a long summer dress that goes down to my ankles.
I look in the mirror and turn to the side.
I am bigger than I was 2 months ago. The doctor said I'm 16 weeks and since the baby is tall/big like Josh so I will have a pretty big bump. Yay me! Note the sarcasm.
I'm not that huge yet. Just a little noticeable bump.
I put my hand on my belly and feel the small kicks.
The doorbell rings. I hurry downstairs and open the door. It's Paige and Mikey.
"Hey!" She says giving me hug.
"Hi." I say then give Mikey a hug.
We walk upstairs and the set their stuff down.
"Everyone will be here at 2 and Josh doesn't get off till 3." I state.
"What will we do?" Mikey asks.
"I don't know. We were supposed to just tell them right away. Guess that won't happen." I say putting away some groceries.
"We'll figure it out. Does Josh care if you tell before he gets here?"
I shake my head.
"Well we will hope for the best."I say.
----2:15----
I hear the doorbell ring and Paige goes running down the stairs. Mikey hands me a blanket and I put it over my belly.
He nods.
"Hi Guys!" Paige says.
They all come running upstairs and everyone exchanges hugs and stuff.
Nobody wonders why I'm on the couch.
"Chloe! It's been a few months how have you been?" Maddie asks.
I nod, "Pretty good. A little sick here and there but alright."
"Aw that sucks." Maddie says.
"So where's Josh?" Kendall asks.
"Oh he is at work still. Won't be back for another hour. I look back at the clock and the blanket sort of comes down. Farther than I was hoping.
Brandon notices. He has a confused look on his face. I know he saw.
I smile at him.
"Chloe... Stand up." He says. The room goes silent.
"Why? I'm perfectly fine where I am."
"Just freaking stand up." He snaps.
I look over at Paige and she nods.
I move the blanket to the side and stand up. I pull my dress down and everyone's faces go white.
"Um...." Maddie says.
I look down at my feet.
"I'm pregnant."I manage to croak out.
It is silent for a few seconds until Kendall says, "You are." I nod.
She comes and hugs me. Along with everyone else.
I hear the front door unlock. I walk over to the stairs and lean against the railing.
Josh opens the door and sees me. He smiles.
I grin. He puts his gym bag up on the rack and I walk towards him down the stairs.
He kisses me and I whisper, "The figured it out."
Josh takes a deep breath, "How? We were gonna wait."
"Brandon saw my bump after I tried to hide it."
"Well they don't seem mad so that's good." I smile.
"Let's go talk to them." I say grabbing his hand.
----
The girls and I walk out on the balcony. The boys are across the street at the basketball court.
I lean against the railing and watch them.
"Chloe can I ask you something." Maddie asks. I nod and look over at her.
"How long have you known?" I take a deep breath, "I am 16 weeks. We knew around the beginning of January. The baby is due October 25th. We have been meaning to tell you guys but I know it would've affected you too much and I didn't want it to be on your mind forever." I say fiddling with my hands.
"Does your mom know?" Kendall asks.
I shake my head, "She doesn't have a clue."
"How has Josh been taking it?" Kendall asks.
"Pretty good actually. He wants a boy but now I don't really care. We are going to wait and be surprised." I say.
She smiles.
I look back over at the boys and Josh waves and blows me a kiss. I smile and yell, "You boys almost done? Our reservations are in half an hour!"
Josh gives me a thumbs up and they start walking back.////chapter 39

Hey! I hope you all are liking the story. I want to help you get to know the apartment better. Or at least what it looks like.
So it is a 2 story. But the first level is just stairs leading up to the top.
There is else behind that. Once it's upstairs there Is the kitchen and the living room.
The balcony is at the end of the room and isn't that big.
Outside, in front of the balcony is, to the left is a gas station and beyond that a little farther down is a hotel. Then to the right is the basketball court and McDonald's.
If that made any sense. You can arrange it how you want in your head I'm just making you, hopefully, less confused on how this is set up.
