Chapter 15

I step on the dirt and see Josh leaning against the railing with his hands in his pocket, staring at me.
I look at Miranda asking for help and she just smiles and motions for me to go over.
I give her the death stare and walk over.
Josh stands up straight.
"We need to talk." He says grabbing my hand and leading me the opposite way.
I don't let go of his hand. I let him lead me wherever.
We get to the Ferris wheel and he uses his fast pass to get on first.
We get on and I sit across from him. I cross my arms.
The Ferris wheel starts moving up a little then stops.
"I can't keep playing cat and mouse. I try to talk, you run away." He says.
I uncross my arms.
"I am so so sorry Chloe! I never meant to hurt you. I knew you would get upset about university of Toronto. I didn't have the heart to tell you. I love you and I can't keep living like this. If you want me out of your life just say so. But I want you to know that I will do anything in my power to call you mine again. Heck I drove about 10 hours to get to you." He says grabbing my hand.
I look at him and just imagine how much he has gone through. I haven't spoken to him in a long time. I haven't even talked to Paige.
"C'mon Chloe. Please just say something." Josh says staring into my eyes. I see all the torture and pain through his eyes. He sees all the hurt and pain through mine.
I look at him for a few more seconds. The ride starts going up . We end up at the top.
I look to the side and then back at Josh.
I didn't know what to say.
A tear falls down from my eye. Josh wipes it away.
I lean closer to him. I close my eyes then whisper, "Please.....Just kiss me."
I feel Josh slowly place his lips on mine.
I move my hands up through his hair.
He grabs my waist pulling me to his lap.
Our lips are moving in perfect sync.
I stop kissing him then look down.
"I love you." "I love you too."
Josh grabs the end of my braid then twists it.
We put our foreheads together and he says,
"I missed you."
"I missed you too."
