Chapter 24

Night before graduation.....
I stayed at Paige's house that night until about 12:30. Along with everyone else
I walk over to Josh's room and lean against his door. He is laying down talking to the guys. I interrupt,
"Josh? Can we talk?" I ask.
"Sure." He says.
Everyone gets up and walks out.
He opens his arms motioning for me to come lay with me.
I slide next to him.
"What's up?" He asks.
"What do we do?"
"Do??" He asks confused.
"After graduation."
"You know what I don't know. We will make It work!" He says.
"And what if we can't get it to work? Look how far we have gotten with distance!" I turn to lay on my stomach.
"Hey! Don't worry about that now. We still have 3 months till school starts. Just think about tomorrow. It's your big day!" He says brushing my hair.
I lay my head down on his chest. Before I fall asleep everyone comes running in!
"You aren't going to sleep!" Mikey says grabbing my hands and pulling me up from Josh's grip.
I just laugh then look back at Josh. I grab his hand and pulls him up.
"Why don't we go get a late night snack?" Mikey's asks.
"I'm down." I say.
We drive down to cold stone and I get cotton candy with marshmallows.
Being Josh he gets chocolate with snickers, sprinkles, peanuts, chocolate syrup, gummy bears, etc.
We are all sitting at a table.
I'm about to put my spoon in mouth when Josh puts his in my mouth.
I look at him and he tells me to eat it.
I eat it. I just look at him. He starts to laugh.
"This is sad. This is our last day of being high schoolers." Paige says.
I look over at her then give her a hug.
"It's not our last day of freedom! We get freedom." I say.
She just looks up at me.
I sit back down and Josh pulls my head into his chest.
His kisses my head.
"I love you guys." I say ////end of chapter 24
