Chapter 13
1 week later

I walk out of my math class and see something I never thought I would see.
A truck.
A black truck.
Josh's truck.
I close my eyes thinking I'm imagining it but when I open them it is still there. I speed walk towards my dorm and get to my room.
I fiddle with my keys and drop them. My door opens when my shoulders brush up against them.
I push it open slowly and see someone.
Josh Hyland.
Josh Hyland is sitting on my bed.
He is wearing a black long sleeve shirt and jeans.
His hair is a little messy.
He has a gold pin in his hand.
My gold pin.
I start to walk out when he says,
"Chloe wait."
I turn around and he is right in front of me.
I can smell his cologne.
He looks down at me.
I feel tears fall from my eyes.
I just stare up at him.
"Please Chloe. I can't do this anymore. I need you. Now. Not in a year. Not after death. Now. Right this second." He says before grabbing my cheeks and pulling his lips to mine.
After a few seconds I kiss back. But it's not long after when I stop and stare up at him.
I realize his hands from cheeks and turn around.
I Sprint towards the front door and hear Josh call my name.
I get in my rental car and start driving away. I see him run outside then stop.
He puts his hands behind his head and starts walking back inside.
I keep driving until I have no idea where I've been going.
It's been about an hour. I decide to drive back to the dorm. ////end of chapter 13
