Chapter 34

I walk out of the bathroom and Josh smiles.
"You look gorgeous!" He says.
"Haha! Whatever!"
I am wearing a blue tank top with black yoga pants, and my hair is in a messy bun.
I walk over and go to close the blinds. I grab the stick and pull it towards the other end.
I hear Josh walk over. I let go of the stick and feel his cold lips press against my neck. (PG13)
He starts Kissing it.
"Josh." I breathe.
"What!" He says in between kisses.
I look down at my hands.
I turn around and and face him. I am inches away from his face.
I feel his breath on my face.
"Come here." He whispers
I press my lips against his. I move my hands up to his hair and run them through it.
Josh stops kissing me and takes off his shirt.
He throws it on the ground and walks closer to me grabbing my cheeks. Before he kisses me I say, "You make me crazy"
He laughs then brings my face closer, pressing my lips against his.
I laugh and keep kissing him.
He grabs the back of my thighs and I jump up wrapping my legs around his waist.
He laughs and I put my hands on his neck leaning down to kiss him.
His hands are on my waist close to my butt.
He starts walking towards the bedroom grabbing the back of my shirt taking it off.
----Next morning----
I open my eyes and see the bright light reflecting in from the windows.
I turn to my side and don't see Josh. I sit up and realize I am in my bra and underwear.
I rub my eyes and stand up. I change into one of Josh's sweatshirts and my yoga pants.
I walk out to see that some of the boxes are unloaded.
On the counter there is a note,
"Morning beautiful! I am at the store getting some food. Be home soon. Love you gorgeous! Josh 8:30"
I look at the clock and it is 9:15. He should be back any minute.
I hear the door unlock and Josh put his keys down.
He walks upstairs and look at him. I smile.
He makes his way over to me and kisses my cheek.
"I had fun last night." He says.
I smile and reply, "So did I!"
"See! It's not that bad living with me!" Josh jokes.
I walk over to him and grab the McDonald's bag he has in his hand.
He got me an egg mcmuffin.
I walk over to the couch that he set up this morning and sit on it.
I look out the window.
"Man! It's really coming down!" I say. Josh sits next to me and adds, "Yeah. I don't know if we will be able to make our flight tomorrow. It is supposed to snow all night."
I sigh, "What do we do?"
"We will have a Christmas here!" Josh says. I laugh.
"No! What if we can't get our money back?"
"I am a good negotiator I will make a deal with them." Josh says.
I laugh then give him a light kiss.
"You give me breathing problems." I say.
"Oh. Well maybe you should suffocate." He jokes. (If that didn't make any sense I'm sorry.)
He moves over closer to me grabbing my chin pulling my lips to his. He starts kissing me and I kiss back.
After a few seconds I stop kissing him and say, "Let's put the groceries away."
I hear Josh sigh when I stand up.
"Come on." I state grabbing his hand.
----2 weeks later----
I wake up and look to my side. Josh isn't here, again. He has been having interviews because he wants a new job that pays more. Our flight got postponed to 2 days. It is after Christmas but it's alright.
I sit up and feel this sudden urge to puke.
I get up and run to the bathroom. I make it in time before I get sick. (I hope you aren't eating)
It finally stops and I sit up. I walk back into the bedroom and grab my phone. It is December 28th.
I am late. A week late. I think about it for a second.
No. I can't be.

I can't.
I am not.
My phone goes off from a unknown number. I answer it hoping it could be Josh.
"Hello?"
"Hi is this Chloe Lukasiak?"
"Um yes."
"Hi I'm Julie Michael's from the children's hospital. We got your resume and being a sophomore in college you have so much to offer. Hi would you like to be a nurses assistant for a few months?"
"Wow! That's amazing! I would love to!"
"Good! You will start next Tuesday at 7 am sharp. We will work out your schedule then."
I hang up and smile.
I walk out to the kitchen to make breakfast.
After about an hour I decide to head outside to go get some things.////end of chapter 34
