I watch the food on my plate. Waiting for it to move Into my mouth. My mom says I should eat, but what's the point when one certain person destroyed your feeling of everything.
I look over at my phone, waiting for his apologetic call. Nothing.
"Chloe, Hun, why don't you eat?" My mom asks pouring my sister Clara some more orange juice.
"I'm not hungry." "Well you have to eat something." She says with a concerned look on her face.
"I said I'm not hungry." I get up and walk upstairs.
I get to my room and fall on my bed. Spring break was a bust.
My boyfriend lied to me.
Nobody told me his lie or what was going on.
He hasn't even called me.
I watch the clock in my room change to 10:06.
When I went back into my hotel room after the fight, I packed everything up in 20 minutes and left.
No note
No phone call
No text
Just my stuff, gone.
They all knew why I left, even if Josh didn't tell them.
They knew that I might not trust them anymore.
They lied to me.
They knew I would be in pain, and didn't do a darn thing to stop it.
They don't care.
I look over at my window and watch the raindrops slip down my window.
My phone starts ringing. I walk over to my desk to pick it up and see an unknown number. I answer,
"Hello?"////end of chapter 1
