Chapter 22

"Chloe!" Clara yells as I walk through the front door.
"Hi Clara!"
My mom is standing right behind Clara. I walk over and give her hug.
"It's ok." She says.
I look at her then make my way upstairs. It's about 12:30. Lunch.
I unpack all my clothes and just stare at my walls. They are so empty.
Just like I was at the time.
I grab my laptop and check my email. I have an email from Yale about my classes.
I type.......
"Hi,
Thank you so much for your consideration in me. I've been thinking....."
----9:45p.m.----
I finish taking a shower then head to my room to call Josh.
I click on his contact and hear it ring 3 times.
"Hello?"
"We need to talk. Meet me at the bench in 3 minutes."
"Ok is everything alright?"
"Perfect."
I start to head out and when I get there Josh is already there.
"Hey. You're early." I say siting next to him.
He puts his arm around me. I turn to look at him.
"We need to talk." I say.
"What about?"
"Um......"
"You can tell me anything."
"I declined the Yale elite program!" I say quickly he couldn't understand. I know he is gonna be upset with me.
"Wait! You what?"
"Yale emailed me about my classes and I thought about It and i would rather would wait till the fall to start my courses."
"Why? That was an amazing opportunity!"
"You are more important to me." I say.
Before I could get another word out be grabs my neck and presses his lips onto mine.
"I love you." He says between kisses.
I smile.
He stops kissing me.
"I have something for you." He says.
He grabs something out of his pocket. The clip. He slides it into my hair.
"Thank you." I say.
"At the airport I saw a man with it in his hand. I asked him if he saw you and he said yes. Then he gave It to me."
