I sit on my bed in astonishment. I smile. I haven't smiled since before the fight.
"I got into Yale!" I say.
I run downstairs and see my mom doing the dishes.
"Mom!" I yell!
"What?" "I got accepted in Yale!"
"Really! That's amazing!" She says giving me a hug. "Oh and another thing, Josh called." And there goes my happiness.
My smile goes away. I walk away. My mom knows my answer. He is out of my life.
I get to my room and check my computer for the message from Yale. Nothing.
I wait and wait. Hours for that email. I have to get out of here. For good.
My phones goes off and it's Paige calling. I decline it.

Josh POV
"She hung up!" Paige says slamming her phone down on the table. "What is it with her?" Brandon asks. "Just give her time." I say trying to calm everyone down.
"Are you guys ready to go?" Mikey asks gripping Paige's hand. "Let's go!" I say.

Chloe POV
I try to call my dad to tell him the good news but he doesn't answer. Josh calls for the first time. I decline it. I walk out onto my balcony and watch the rain drip down the roof.
I run my hands along my patio railing.
I imagine seeing Josh's old black truck drive up to my driveway.
I imagine him getting out and walking to my front door.
I imagine him ringing the doorbell.
I imagine him walking up the stairs and wrapping his arms around my waist.
I imagine him kissing my head.
I imagine him being there with me, keeping me warm.
But I can't think about that. He lied to me. Again.

And I can't trust him anymore. Nor think about what life could've been with him.

So sorry guys!!!! School just started again and it's been tough. I will post more often. Here are a few questions you guys can answer. :)

Do you think Chloe will ever forgive Josh? Even if he is on his knees begging?
