Chapter 36

I open my eyes and see Josh looking at me.
I smile.
"Good morning." He says.
"Good morning."
I move closer to him and he kisses me.
"What shall we do today? We don't have to work nor go to school." Josh says pushing my hair behind my ears.
"I don't know." I say.
I sigh remembering last night.
"Hey. Don't worry about anything now. It's winter break. You can't do anything about It anymore." Josh says.
"I know what we should do today." I state.
"And what may that be?"
"Um we need to tell Paige. But not over the phone, in person. She won't believe me if I call her." I say.
"Sounds good to me." Josh says. I put my forehead to his and close my eyes.
"You're all I need." He says.
"You're all I want."
I feel him move his hands down towards my belly. He touches it.
I open my eyes and look at him.
He smiles.
I grin.
"Just imagine... In 9 months you will be able to hold this little human being." Josh says. I laugh.
"I don't want to think about that right now." I reply.
Josh grabs the back of my neck and pulls my lips to his embracing me with a Kiss.
After a few seconds he pulls away.
I smile then get up.
Josh puts on a sweatshirt and I head out to the living room.
"I'm gonna call Paige she should be up by now." I say dialing her number.
Josh gives me a thumbs and opens the pantry.
"Hey Paige!"
"Hi Chloe! I have really good news."
"Uh I do well sort of not really. But I have to tell you in person."
"Ok well let me tell you. I am leaving today to head to Hawaii. I'm getting to teach kids dance there."
I look over at Josh and bite my lip.
"Um ok. When do you leave?"
"I am actually heading to the airport now. Can you just tell me?"
Knowing she won't believe me I say, "Um no. It can wait."
"Ok. Give Josh a hug for me and I will be back in a few weeks."
"Have fun. Be safe."
I hang up and look at Josh.
"She can't come?"
"No um she is actually heading to Hawaii for a month to teach dance." I reply walking over to Josh.
"Great. Knowing her she wouldn't believe you even if you were crying." Josh says.
I sigh, "Well we will just have to wait." I say.
A few hours later Josh and I decide to head out to go run some errands.
"Where to first?" I ask sitting down in Josh's truck.
"Well I'm thinking we could go get some groceries and then head for lunch then end the night with a movie."
"Sounds good to me." I say.
Josh and I head to the grocery store. "What would you like for dinner?" Josh asks.
"Um." I bite my lip knowing he might not like it, "How about spaghetti."
"Anything for you." Josh says kissing my forehead.
We walk over to the milk and pass by the baby section.
"Now you can shop for clothes." Josh says. I laugh.
We check out and head to Olive Garden.
My phone goes off.
It's my mom.
I look up at Josh totally spacing out that she doesn't know. She will freak.
"Josh she doesn't know." I whisper.
"Just answer it. We will tell her later."
I grab my phone,
"Hello?"
"Hi Chloe!"
"Hi mom what's up?"
"Just checking In on you guys. How you doing?"
"Pretty good how are you?"
"I'm good. Clara misses you. We wish you guys could come back."
"Yeah we don't have the money and would rather save it up for other things."
I look over at Josh.
"Ok. Well thanks for answering."
"Um yeah sure."
"Love you Chloe."
"Love you too mom."
I take a sip of my diet coke.
"She'll be furious." I say.
"No. Just when you tell her."
I shoot Josh a mean glare. He laughs and puts his hands up in defense.
----2 weeks later----
"Ok thank Paige. Bye." I say.
"Plans changed! She will be back in a month from today." I tell Josh.
He moves his hand through his hair.
"I only want you and her to know. You guys won't try to blow my head off." I laugh.
"It'll be fine. We are gonna have to tell Mikey or she will." Josh says.
I nod. "But you tell him."
He nods then kisses my forehead before he heads to go to work.
We go back to school tomorrow. I think I might faint.
----Next day----
"Chloe. Beautiful we have to go to school." Josh says
I open my eyes and see him looking at me.
"Can't we just stay home?" I ask sitting up.
"Nope!" Josh says grabbing my hand.
I look at the clock and it is 5:30. I rub my eyes and head to kitchen.
After an hour Josh and I are finally out the door.
"Bye gorgeous." Josh says kissing my cheek.
"Bye." I say. I start to twirl my hand.
"Don't worry about it. They won't know. Besides you aren't even showing." Josh says.
I am about 5 weeks and don't have a bump yet. Which makes me happy.
I get to school and head to my first class, science.
I walk in and sit down. Miranda looks at me.
I look at her.
"You ok?" She mouths.
I nod. I have to tell paige before her. Paige knows me better./////chapter 36
