I watch as Josh looks to the side of the Ferris wheel.
He sees me staring. I blush.
The ride gets to the bottom.
Josh grabs my hand and leads me off of the ride.
"So where to now?" I ask.
"How about a few more rides?" Josh replies looking at me.
"Sounds good."
Josh and I make our way over to the swings.
"Double or single?" He asks.
"Double."
Josh leads me onto the swing and it starts moving.
His phone starts ringing. Paige.
"Why don't you answer it?" He asks.
I look at him unsure then grab the phone.
"Hello?" I say.
"Josh where are- Chloe?"
"Paige?"
"Oh my gosh. Really!"
"Yeah. I think so."
"Haha. Um I don't know what to say."
"Neither do I."
"What are you doing?"
"I'm at the amusement park with Josh."
"Oh so that's where he went. He hasn't been picking up his phone or anything. We were really worried."
I look over at him.
"Well he's here with me."
"Ok. Well come back soon. We all miss you so much and have a lot of explaining to do."
"Ok. Can't wait."
Then she hangs up.
I hand Josh back his phone.
The swings get back down to the bottom.
"Did Miranda know?" I ask.
"What? Did you think she was just gonna let you off with some stranger?" He chuckles.
My feet hit the ground as I stand up and grab my bag.
Josh puts his arm around my waist.
"No. But I was wondering why she didn't just stop me. At the moment I was hoping she would."
Josh and I sit down on a bench next to a little pond. I lean my head into his chest.
Feeling his heart beat.
"Oh. So you were hoping she wouldn't let you come. Well, what do you think about it now?" Josh asks.
I look up at him, "It was the best decision I have ever made." I say before pressing my lips into his.
